Break the images for each hover into different graphics. For instance, have nav_home.jpg, nav_about.jpg.

Then just some CSS positioning.

so what if I was designing arabic navigation menu, how can I import starting from right side?

background-position:-200px 0px; <

I have tried this
background-position:100% 0px; <<< it worked but its not so precise

anyone knows?
