Thank you for your advice. However, I inserted ‘<?php wp_link_pages(); ?>’ to the end of the page.php file. When I insert the <!–nextpage–> tag in posts I still have the same problem. The text after the tag dissapears but there is no links to the next pages (ie – page 1, page 2 etc).
Do you have any further advice?
Thank you for your continued help. I’m still having trouble. I have copied exactely how you said and it still has a border…
‘(Purchase code hidden if logged out) .png”>(Purchase code hidden if logged out) .png” alt=”” />’
Also, I can’t find that code in my Newscast Stylesheet file.
I feel bad keep asking for help. Do you offer any paid for support so you could go into my WordPress account to have a look?
I’m quite keen to get this fixed soon.
Thank you for your continued help and I’m sorry for my persistent questions! I don’t know what I am doing wrong but I still get borders.
For example, I tried the above technique and here is the resulting code …
‘(Purchase code hidden if logged out) .png”><img class=”alignnone size-full wp-image-159″ title=”3dtc changes lives orange tv” src=”http://www.3dfocusnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) .png” alt=”” width=”541″ height=”101″ class=”no-border”
As you can see, I have put in the no border class.
In the template code, is there anyway of switching off the border code entirely? I would rather do it that way as I will never want borders on any of the images.
Thanks Dude and sorry again for the hassle!
I hope you are well. I appreciate you are busy so before you get the chance to write the custom code to choose which image is in the post thumbnail on the home page, is it possible you could tell me how to turn them off entirely as a temporary solution? (not the featured slider – the small thumbnails in the posts on the front page (I know how to turn off the images in actual post itself).
Thank you very much,
Hi ‘The Dude’
What a massive help you have been. Sorry for the delay in responding but I have been away.
I’m really sorry but I’m still struggling to remove the borders. I add the term ‘no-border’ but a border will still appear. I have kept the class in the css so thought I could just add the no-border tag so no borders appeared.
Here is the example of some code for one of my pictures …
(Purchase code hidden if logged out) .png”>(Purchase code hidden if logged out) .png” alt=”” />
I also tried it with the other images and have the same problem. Is there a way of turning off the border by default?
Thank you for your time,
I’m am having trouble implementing this. I have gone into Appearance – Editor. Then I click on Stylesheet under Styles. Right at the bottom of the css file I have pasted –
I then ‘Update File’.
I then go to one of my posts with an image in it and go into the html window. However, when I add ‘no border’ a border is still present. Here is a copy of what I have added …

I would like to remove all borders from all my images.
Thanks James for your help. I have checked the functions and it appears right. However, if I changed that presumably it would still squash the image? Because the images need to be so wide for the slider, I do not think it would ever look right in any way squashed or cropped.
Is there anyway possible (or could I get customised for a fee) to be able to tell WP not to use my featured image as a thumbnail and tell it to use a different image designed for the thumbnail instead?
PS – perhaps custom fields?
Thanks for getting back. They are getting squashed in the thumbnails next to the post excerpts on the home page.

I have tried making a different picture for the thumbnail (I could not use the same for the featured slider and thumbnail due to the size difference) but it would still use the featured image as the thumbnail image. How can I tell WP what to use as the featured image and what to use as a post thumbnail image?
Finally, it still seems to automatically add the featured image into the post (even though I select – ‘use as featured image’ and not ‘insert into post’).

Thanks for your support,
I have managed to remove the top navigation thanks to the link you sent me too.
However, I still cant get the drop down menus. I have several categories and selected what the main category is when creating them. However, there is no way of dragging and dropping them under other categories – they just appear as top level categories.
Thank you for your help
