No the code is taking effect but I can’t seem to find the correct padding values. I have no idea how to even begin calculating what will work and what won’t. I have tried playing around with different values, but I’m just not coming right. I’m not blaming your code – I’m blaming myself.
Thanks, though.November 24, 2015 at 2:28 pm in reply to: Original Header Menu Quick CSS Code No Longer Working #541628
Hi, okay fair enough. I’m just going to give this a miss then – I can’t seem to get the padding to work out properly. Thanks.November 24, 2015 at 1:56 pm in reply to: Original Header Menu Quick CSS Code No Longer Working #541602
Sorry, but I can’t get it to work. I’m not clued up on code or how padding should be measured. None of us at our company are familiar with code. Is there not simply a clean code I can put in to spread the items evenly across the page?November 24, 2015 at 9:55 am in reply to: Original Header Menu Quick CSS Code No Longer Working #541401
No, it’s working now because I removed the code so it wouldn’t affect the live site, which is why I sent you the image to view instead. I’ll apply the code now just for today so you can view the site live.

Yes, as stated above, the code does seem to work as it is spreading out the menu items, BUT the alignment is incorrect. The attachment links I sent earlier demonstrate this – you can see that the titles are not centered inside their menu containers as they should be, and the highlighter underneath each title’s container spreads across two title containers. So the code is not working properly. So it’s the same issue.November 23, 2015 at 1:11 pm in reply to: Original Header Menu Quick CSS Code No Longer Working #540746
Done – plugin worked and theme has been updated. I re-added the CSS code again but still the same issue appears. See attached.
ThanksNovember 20, 2015 at 8:48 am in reply to: Original Header Menu Quick CSS Code No Longer Working #539376
I get what you’re saying but I think there must be an issue inside our Dashboard then, because if I go to Enfold>Theme Updates, it says there is no update available and that I’m running the latest theme, then if I click on “check manually” it finds nothing and tells me I’m up to date. See attached snapshot to see what I mean.November 19, 2015 at 5:09 pm in reply to: Original Header Menu Quick CSS Code No Longer Working #539098
Hi, according to our dashboards for each site we’re up to date? Link attached.November 17, 2015 at 4:55 pm in reply to: Original Header Menu Quick CSS Code No Longer Working #537412November 17, 2015 at 9:42 am in reply to: Original Header Menu Quick CSS Code No Longer Working #537183
Thanks – that definitely solved the problem. There is a weird issue now though – the menu items are weirdly misaligned. I’ve attached a link to the snapshot for you to see in the private content area.
I personally am not too clued up on code (The username “WebMaster” was given to me kind of as an in-house joke) but I know the original source was HTML and included <div> sections, if that helps?
Although it doesn’t really matter, because the code you gave worked. Thank you :) Could I perhaps place this code in the Quick CSS section as I’d prefer this for all pages?
Okay, I’ve created a test page for you in the Private Content area with the form on the actual page and I’ve also set the popup form to appear when you try to leave. This way you can see both instances and the differences between them. The form on hte page doesn’t have a heading, but we did that on purpose so don’t worry about that.
Hope it works – thanks!
Oh I see… Ok, thanks. I’m not sure it’s worth sending a page link as the form displays perfectly in-page, just not inside a popup (which is executed via their service using a tag). What I can do is send you a snapshot of what the form is supposed to look like and what it looks like when inside a popup?
I’ve attached links to the snapshots in the private content area.
As you can see, the “Form On Page” is what the form is supposed to look like. But “Form Inside Popup” is what it looks like when in a popup, with dark borders appearing above the title and around the first two fields.
Hope that helps!
Nevermind, it only seems to be at the bottom of the page now, which I can handle. Seems to be fixing itself as I go along
Sorry, that’s because we had to perform an emergency backup/restore of our website last night so the page you just looked at was from before the changes. It wouldn’t have been a cache issue though, as the page was showing the same errors when viewing from different computers.
Any way, I’ve made the changes again but this time there are no glitches. Thanks!
I added the new code as you requested – still no change. Page is: http://siptrunkplus.com/news/10-of-the-best-in-it-and-cloud-humour/
I did add private login details in one of my earlier replies, maybe you want to login and have a look yourself?

I made the changes you requested as well as updated the file – no change. Although I updated the functions-enfold.php file, not the “Theme Functions” functions.php file. Would that make a difference?
Hi, sorry this took so long. We were having issues with our site yesterday. Login details below.
Thanks, I managed to add and create Custom CSS field and give the Masonry element a custom name. Then I went back to add the code you gave me to the functions.php document and replaced “your-custom-class” with the name I gave the element, but the links are still opening on the same page.
I noticed that aside from functions-enfold.php, there’s also theme-functions.php. Either way, I tried the code on both, but it made no difference.
That easy? Haha thanks, Josue. Enabling Link Target was the solution.
