  • in reply to: Hacking Enfold Theme Only? – Hacked By Kuroi'SH #476941

    Hi!

Please let me add that there never was a known security flaw in Enfold which would allow a user to hack an entire website so I would heavily recommend to check any other software you are using as well. As Yigit suggested, using security plugins and keeping the theme as well as enfold up to date might help a lot ;)

    Hey!

If there are 4 plugins that are causing the issue, its almost always a memory problem. although 128mb should easily be enough, it might be that due to a very large number of pages the memory is exhausted nevertheless.

Getting to know the error message from a log or on screen might tell us if thats the case. You can also try to set the memory limit to an absurd high amount like 1024mb to test this theory :)

in reply to: Pages missing from dashboard #475897

    Hello Tony

First of all: threatening me or my support team is by no means an appropriate way to try to move this issue forward. You obviously want to be treated in a polite manner and the same is true for everyone of us. I know that debugging problems can be annoying but its no reason to be harsh or to try to bully us.

You know, its impossible for us to tell you which of the 40.000 WordPress plugins found in the WordPress repository work fine and which do not. We obviously can’t test all of them. It’s especially hard if we encounter an issue for the first time and this is the case here. Out of the 60.000 customers we have had no one ever reported the page overview site going blank.

In such cases it is necessary for us to deactivate the plugins one by one to see if the problem is caused by the theme, by a plugin in conjunction with the theme, by a server issue, etc

You stated you already have disabled all the plugins and the problem still persists. If thats the case there is a good chance that there is some kind of server limitation that is causing the issue. Since a white screen almost always throws a fatal php error the next step for you is to tell us which error exactly that is. You should be able to see this either in one of your servers error log files (depending on how your error logging is configured) or you can configure WordPress to display errors directly on screen (this might even be better since we can take a look at it ourself and see if the error changes if other plugins are activated/deactivated)

Which brings me to the last question: are we allowed to enable/disable the plugins in your testing environment to see if that changes something?

    Best regards
    Kriesi

PS: it seems we posted at the same time. we will see what we can do by enabling/disabling plugins, please let us know about the PHP error that is caused on this page

    Hi Lesley!

Judging from the license and purchase code you posted and from the website you linked to it seems you are in the wrong forum? We are not the creators of the theme you are using and are also not the creators of the layerslider plugin. If you need support for that plugin I recommend to ask here: http://codecanyon.net/item/layerslider-responsive-wordpress-slider-plugin-/1362246/comments

in reply to: Recommended Replacement for Kriesi Display theme #473476

    Hey Rick!

I would recommend to use our Enfold WordPress Theme:

    http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990?ref=kriesi

You will be able to use a lot of your current features and much more. In addition to that it supports woocommerce out of the box, is repsonsive and you can style it to look very similar to Display, if you want to :)

PS: actually Display should still work fine with the latest version of wordpress if its also up to date. If thats not the case you can open a support thread here and we will gladly take a look at your site and backend

    Hey Paul!

    Kriesi

    Hey!

I am afraid to tell you that this is not a valid purchase and that they are illegally selling the theme. We will immediately report that site. The only valid Enfold purchase can be done on Themeforest here: http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990?ref=Kriesi

We can only provide updates and support if the theme is purchased on Themeforest. Sorry for that

in reply to: How to revoke a license? #472616

    Hey Jody!

Could you let us know which website the theme was used on?
Also if you have added any API keys to the backend of the theme for auto updates you need to change those API keys in your themeforest backend.

Other than that thanks for the notification and once you have posted the website in question you are free to use the theme on another site ;)

    Best regards,

in reply to: Theme Licenses in Bulk #472264

    Hi Dante!

I am afraid there is no “default” bulk license on themeforest and since we are bound by our exclusivity agreement we can not offer you to purchase the theme directly from us.

However there is always the chance that you can strike a deal with themeforest by asking their support: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

As for the whitelabeling: renaming the theme is easy enough and we can certainly provide you with a little help in adding your logo to the backend via CSS. If you don’t need additional changes thats something which we can provide for free ;)

in reply to: Image HOVER link arrow effect not showing up! #467800

    Hi Eric!

I can see what you mean. The image element does not use the same hover effect as other parts of the theme but I guess its true that this is a little confusing and probably something that we can add with one of the next versions of the theme.

Meanwhile, if the hover effect is important to you, you can remove the template builder image element and instead add a text element and embed an image the default wordpress way. that would allow you to display an image with the default hover effect.

Another option would be to use an easy slider element and only add one image, then activate the “link to lightbox” option

    Regards,
    Kriesi

in reply to: GALLERY Images in lightbox not full size #467798

    Hey Eric!

I checked your backend and the images are uploaded with a size of 320 * 240px which is what the lightbox shows. If you want to display bigger images you need to upload larger versions as well. The theme won’t blow up small images in your lightbox, because it would just be a pixelated mess if you increase a 320*240px to something that is 3 to 4 times as big :)

Make sure to upload images with at least 1000px width and height, then set the gallery to display a smaller cropped version in the preview. The lightbox will automatically show the larger version

    Cheers!

in reply to: Need Your Expertise! #467349

    Hi!

I checked the site and although CSS and JS are indeed minified the HTML code is not. Not sure if you can change any settings at cloudflare to activate that? Otherwise I think the only possible way would be to use either a server module like mod_pagespeed or a plugin that compresses all html output.

    Cheers!
    Kriesi

PS: since our bbpress forum plugin here moves posts with a new reply to the end of the queue yours got moved back several times and that was causing the delay in your answer. So just for the future: bumping a thread is not necessary, we reply to everyone as soon as possible ;)

    Hey Whitney!

Please update the theme to the latest version (3.2.2). That should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :)

To update to the latest version follow the instructions here:

If that does not help feel free to let us know here :)

in reply to: Business Startup Theme #465944

    Hi vivant!

the only way to that would be with the help of the wordpress uploader. it would upload all pages and posts and you could delete those you dont like. your settings in your backend at enfold->theme options wont be affected.

The demo files are located in the theme folder at enfold/includes/admin/demo_files/startup.xml

    Cheers!

    in reply to: SEO #465823

    Hey Neil!

Enfold works quite well out of the box but adding a plugin like all in one seo for a few optimized titles and meta tags is certainly a good idea.

However, the most important thing will be to get links from other websites. This will send visitors along your way and also increase your site rank in search engines. A few things you can try is to release freebies, write interesting tutorials/blog posts on your own site or write guest posts on other sites

    Cheers!

in reply to: Lost/forgotten our login for theme propulsion #465036

    Hey!

I am afraid the only way to get full support and theme updates is by having access to a Themeforest account which was used to purchase the theme.

The easiest way would be to get in touch with your developer and ask him for the purchase code and an API key. That would allow you to create a forum account here (one that got access to more than the pre-sale question area) and would also allow you to update the theme from your backend.

If you cant get in touch with your developer for whatever reason, you can also try to contact Envato support and ask them if its possible for them to credit the purchase to a Themeforest account of your own: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
However this will probably only work if your developer already sent you a payment receipt or something similar for the purchase.

Last option would be to create a themeforest account of your own and use it to re-purchase the theme.

I hope one of the first two options works out for you, but unfortunately we can’t help until we have a valid verification that the theme was purchased properly. This is necessary for us, since there are quite a few people out there who don’t buy the theme on themeforest and instead download it for free on illegal file sharing sites and then even have the audacity to ask us for support.

    Sorry for that!
    Kriesi
