    Thx, that looks perfect now. Appreciate your help!

    in reply to: Propulsion footer #327445

    Thx Yigit. That took away social bookmarks (as requested) but footer is still full width of page, not just width of main white area of blog.

    Any ideas how to fix the width?

    in reply to: Propulsion footer #325625

    Thx Ismael. Good to know core edits could affect future updates.

    Can you provide me with the complete code for the original footer.php and any Quick CSS needed to get rid of social icons (ONLY in footer – I still want the social icon links toward the top of the page).

    Thx

    Worked great. Thx!

    in reply to: Propulsion header #320128

    Sorry, that code made it crazy wide – see here: http://www.beastsyndicate.com/shop/

    Currently my entire Quick CSS code is this:
    #header .container{
    padding: 0px !important;
    }
    #main .container{
    padding: 20px !important;
    }
    #header{
    margin-top: 20px;
    margin-bottom: 0 !important;
    }
    #header .container {
    background: #005eab;
    }
    #main .container {
    background: white !important;
    }
    .main_menu a{
    color: white !important;
    }
    .shift_menu .main_menu {
    margin-top: 0px;
    }

    #footer { display: none !important; }

    .post-type-archive-product .extralight-border.title_container.shop_title_container {
    display: none;
    }

    .amount {
    font-size: 18px!important;
    color: #005eab!important;
    }
    div .products .product {
    text-align: center;
    }
    .woocommerce h2 {
    font-size: 18px;
    }
    #socket .container {
    border: 0 !important;
    }
    #header .container {
    width: 67.3%;
    }

    Pls help…

    Worked great – thx Yigit

    PS: Any idea how to resolve my header width issue? http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/propulsion-header/

    in reply to: Propulsion footer #319220

    Perfect! Thx Josue

    in reply to: Propulsion – Account page #319170

    http://www.beastsyndicate.com/shop/?page_id=11 is the page if you’re not logged in to a store account.

    My guess is that making the ‘Login’ text smaller will make the ‘My Addresses’ text smaller too (when logged in)?

    Thx

    in reply to: images for Category? #318164

    Perfect. Thx!

    in reply to: Propulsion footer #318163

    Thx Josue.

    The thin white horizontal line above the text is still there – you can barely see it as it looks like its a 1px deep extension from the white text box. Does that make sense? Tiny detail but does look a bit weird and would like to remove that too….

    Cheers

    in reply to: Add text instead of numbers as price #318159

    OK, I understand.

    Thx Devin

    in reply to: Style pricing on product page #316822

    Hi, I’m using Propulsion and want to do similar but not exactly the same – I’d like to center my product tile/price for each product on the main store page. Pls provide code and specify if it’s for in a PHP file or Quick CSS.

    Also, is it possible to add ‘Special Price’ text for products featured but not sold thru my store (I have some books that I link to on Amazon) Woo won’t let me use text/symbols in the product’s price settings. I’d like the ‘Special Price’ text to be blue like the price, with product title still black like other products.

    Thx

    NOTE: I’m already formatting price color with this CSS:

    .amount {
    font-size: 18px!important;
    color: #005eab!important;
    }

    in reply to: Propulsion: product image sizing #315921

    That worked perfectly. Thx so much Ismael and team!

    in reply to: Propulsion: product image sizing #315191

    Devin, click on any of the products on this page and you’ll see the thumbnails on each specific product page are cropped/rectangular, not 400x400px

    http://www.beastsyndicate.com/shop/

    PS: I’m not sure what size the images are on the ‘shop’ page but they look square not 280×321px. That’s OK as the square images look fine, but I’m curious why they are not 280×321px if that’s how we have it in settings….

    Thx

    Hi Devin, I appreciate your help. It worked great until I added new images. Now the thumbnails are cropped like before – not just the new images but ALL.

    I used the Regenerate Thumbnails plug-in to regen the images but it didn’t seem to make a difference.

    Can you do something so that the cropping issue is permanently fixed – I’ll be wanting to add many more images over the coming weeks.

    Thx.

    Sorry, I’m keen to get this corrected so want to make sure we’re (literally) on the same page.

    You’re talking about changing code in Propulsion: config.php (config-woocommerce/config.php) via Appearance/Editor – right?
    When I look it already has corrected values – does it not when you look? Am I looking in the wrong file?

    I’d love to understand and be able to correct it myself, but if you prefer, could you make the changes for me so we can finish the matter? I appreciate your patience. Am I missing something?

    in reply to: Propulsion: product image sizing #311322

    Sorry but I’m really confused. Where did you view the code you quoted above? I checked Propulsion: config.php (config-woocommerce/config.php) via Appearance/Editor and the code already said:

    //product thumbnails
    $avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘shop_thumbnail’] = array(‘width’=>80, ‘height’=>80);
    $avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘shop_catalog’] = array(‘width’=>280, ‘height’=>321);
    $avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘shop_single’] = array(‘width’=>400, ‘height’=>400);
    avia_backend_add_thumbnail_size($avia_config);

    include(‘admin-options.php’);
    include(‘admin-import.php’);

    Clicking on the main image on the page http://www.beastsyndicate.com/shop/?product=test3 goes to a 600px wide image in slideshow but, as you know, the link you quoted goes to a 450×335 image – but why are you seeing links to this size of image on my website pages and where can I see the page source code that you are seeing?

    Am I missing something?

    in reply to: Propulsion: product image sizing #311085

    Hi, I installed the plug-in and regenerated images but it had no effect : (
    PLUG-IN: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes

    Where are you seeing the link to http://www.beastsyndicate.com/shop/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/p_booknyc_wk01-450×335.jpg ?
    Where can I see the page source code?

    Thx for your help with this

    in reply to: Propulsion: product image sizing #311078

    Peter, clicking on the main image on http://www.beastsyndicate.com/shop/?product=test3 goes to a 600px wide image in slideshow.

    Where are you seeing the link to http://www.beastsyndicate.com/shop/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/p_booknyc_wk01-450×335.jpg ?
    Where can I see the page source code?

    I’ll take a look at the plug-in you suggested (though I have been regenerating thumbnails already – should I have?)

    Appreciate your help

    Thx Devin. That worked for the main store page but not product pages. I tried switching ‘shop_title’ with ‘product_title ‘but it made no difference….

    I’ll check up on the font stuff.
    Thx.

    Devin, I’m confused. My settings (Woo/Settings/Products) are as below:

    Catalog Images 280×321 px no Hard Crop
    Single Product Image 400×400 px no Hard Crop
    Product Thumbnails 80×80 px no Hard Crop

    Am I looking at the wrong place? Where did you see my single product image size is set to 450×335?

    Also, does ‘Single Product Image’ define the size of the image above thumbnails or the image when in slideshow?
    Does ‘Hard Cropping’ crop images that are not in the defined pixel aspect (vs disproportionally shrinking them)?

    Thx

    in reply to: Product image resize in Propulsion #309356

    Appreciate you looking into this Ismael. I started a new thread here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/propulsion-product-image-sizing/

    in reply to: customizing using Theme Options #309340

    Thx Josue, that worked, but not for everything.

    I would still like to delete the section between logo/menu bar and catalog/specific page content (and move the Default Sorting drop down menu to appear in the sidebar), and use Helvetica Neue for Body Text – any suggestions?

    Also, the footer is still fat, and I’d like a thinner logo/menu bar like at http://www.beastsyndicate.com/
    Thx man.

    in reply to: Product image resize in Propulsion #308844

    I changed the PHP file as below (and WooCommerce settings to match), and regenerated thumbnails but the images appear the same size as before. In Woo I also removed the Hard Cropping on each image type but that also didn’t make any difference. Pls help.

    $avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘shop_thumbnail’] = array(‘width’=>80, ‘height’=>80);
    $avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘shop_catalog’] = array(‘width’=>280, ‘height’=>321);
    $avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘shop_single’] = array(‘width’=>400, ‘height’=>400);

    in reply to: Product image resize in Propulsion #308244

    This guy’s second URL link is no longer working so I can’t see what was happening. I don’t know if it’s the same problem I’m having in Propulsion….

    Basically I want to change the largest thumbnail preview on the product pages so it is square (not rectangular) and doesn’t crop the images.
    I’m uploading 600×600 images and, other than the cropping in that large preview thumbnail, I like the way they work across the site.

    http://www.beastsyndicate.com/shop/?product=test

    Pls advise. Thx, as always!

    PS: I don’t know if it helps you to know my settings in WooCommerce are – do I need to change these:
    Catalog Images 600×600px Hard Cropped
    Single Product Image 600×600px Hard Cropped
    Product Thumbnails 80×80px Hard Cropped

    I had a similar problem:

    With Jetpack deactivated the slideshow works fine (magnifying glass icon shows when hovering over main thumbnail)

    With Jetpack activated there is no magnifying glass icon and no slideshow. Instead only one large image is shown with a unique URL EG: http://i1.wp.com/www.beastsyndicate.com/shop/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/p_booknyc_obey01.jpg?fit=8000%2C8000

    So deactivating Jetpack solves the problem – but isn’t Jetpack something I should be using? Can we not have Jetpack AND working slideshows?
