I still haven’t got around to making the child theme but I followed the instructions on http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/adding-a-widget-area-to-the-header/ and now I have the ad up there but it’s covering the menu and logo etc. How do I adjust that? I believe it’s setup correctly based on the instructions.
Yes prior to this last enfold update I had a Google Adsense code inside the header.php and then after updating it seems I can no longer plug it in there. I tried following the directions in your link above in put that code at the bottom of the fuctions.php file but it caused my site to crash not load so I went in through a file manager and deleted the code and it’s back to normal. I don’t know any php, when it says the bottom does it mean before the last semi-colon? http://WWW.MashItOut.com — Site I’m trying to add the header banner ad to.
Thanks. But is there a way I can delete all the quick css on this site? Because in the Quick CSS box there is no code.
Thanks man. Still learning over here. Quick question, is there anywhere I could see how others build their pages with the advanced layout builder or maybe templates I could download?
Do I control the padding size by modifying the px? “.widget { padding: 10px 0 0 0; } ” is currently what I have reduced it too but it seems it’s not having much of an effect.— edit, It seems to be shrinking it thank you. I guess I will have to trim down image sizes for the “Checkitout.png” and others to get them closer?
Thanks! I’ve made all the changes so far thanks to your help! I would like to adjust the size of the logo, I tried adjusting it through the upload in styling but it seems it always comes out the same size when I put Use as logo. Is there quick css to change it’s size or to move it up some? I’d also like to be able to move the logo to the right some more to put it in line with the picture under it.
I should have asked this with the last question but How do you change the size of the font in header? Like if I wanted Home or any of those Menu buttons to be bigger. I see I can change font type and color in styling. Thanks again for all you guys help. Enfold is by far the best purchase I’ve made involving wordpress!
