Just to be sure, I did some extra troubleshooting. I found a copy of v2.5 of the Incarnation theme on my hard drive and installed it on my site. This resolved the issue. Just to take it a step further, I downloaded the 4.1 files to my desktop and moved each folder/file over one by one to see what folder/file made it cause the problem. I got to the end of the list, and nothing changed. The issue was not there again. To be extra sure, I deleted the Incarnation folder completely, reinstalled the 2.5 version. I then initiated the manual update check from the Theme Options menu and it updated to 4.1 successfully. All formatting is still okay and the issue is not there anymore. It appears there was a corrupt file and/or issue during the initial automatic update.

Unfortunately, this does not resolve the issue. I didn’t have this formatted as a list previously and it used to appear just fine. This issue is not specific to this one page, is was an example. This is happening on all of the pages on our website. None of the line or paragraph breaks that show in the visual editor are appearing on any of the pages. This has not always been like this. Another example is our What We Believe page. It has 5 paragraph breaks in the visual editor and the theme recognizes none of them. If I switch to any other theme, they are recognized. It only happens with the Incarnation theme.

I have one more question. It works great on the desktop and on a tablet, but on a mobile device it stacks on top of the social media icons. How can I fix this?

Thank you very much. That worked perfectly.

in reply to: Change sub page titles #420034

I was hoping to be able to change the code in the theme so I wouldn’t have to add extra plugins to my site. I have had issues with extra plugins causing issues. I try to keep the plugins to a minimum. Thanks for the suggestion.

Amazing! I almost had it earlier and was so close, but just couldn’t figure it out. Thank you very much for your assistance. It’s greatly appreciated.

in reply to: Events Page is Blank – It Says Sermons #186409

We got our events page working by assigning sermons to a particular page. The only issue now is that Month View on Tribe Events Styles option using the Default Events Template, you cannot see the month or the previous/next month links. Something has changed in the formatting and it’s all messed up.

in reply to: Upgrade to Events Calendar Pro #112068

I tried installing the free core plugin using the WordPress installer and I received the error message “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. Fatal error: Cannot redeclare presstrends_plugin_tribe_events_calendar() (previously declared in /home/cohokc/public_html/wp-content/themes/incarnation/config-events-calendar/the-events-calendar/lib/tribe-presstrends.php:6) in /home/cohokc/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lib/tribe-presstrends.php on line 59”

Then I tried to install the Events Calendar Pro plugin using the WordPress installer and I received the error message “To begin using Events Calendar PRO, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar.”

in reply to: Add Excerpt #105710

Just to clarify… on the demo of the incarnation theme, there are 3 images with excerpts right below them. This is what I am trying to add and cannot find the place within the theme to add them.

in reply to: Incarnation Frontpage Element Order #105459

It’s took me a bit to figure out, but I got it. I now see that the page split is what determines how that will appear. Thanks for all the info.

in reply to: Incarnation Frontpage Element Order #105458

Thank you for very much for that information. I guess I’m still a little confused on the options. For example, on the default blue demo, there is a blue bar area where there are some words in large white letters with a sermon button below the slider and above the columns. What options must be chosen for that blue divider bar to be there?
