    Hi aribann!

Nothing within the theme has changed. Just make sure you add in the full code snippet that analytic’s provides you. You can alternative use a plugin or add the code snippet in manually.

in reply to: Is this on the bug fix list ? #253569

To a live page where the issue is happening is what I meant. There was a fix in 2.6.2 I think it was for re-aligning the social icons and top menu to be center aligned.

in reply to: Problems uploading images within Theme Options #253568

    Hi AdOnsite!

You could try creating that folder manually so WordPress doesn’t need to. Permissions errors can be odd and if its not happening anywhere else then that should allow you to quickly work around the issue.

You can try asking Kriesi directly from here: http://www.kriesi.at/contact

in reply to: Moving Function.php to child #253564

    Hi!

When adding functions to your child theme, you would only add those functions you want or need to use. Typically the functions.php in a child theme would start out empty. You then add functions as needed.

in reply to: Blog grid not loading on homepage #253563

    Hi!

The only thing I can think of looking at the page vs what is live is that the page data got corrupted somehow. The content that is trying to get output isn’t correct vs what is on the page builder. A simple way to fix and or check for that would be to re-build the page from scratch without copying over any of the data through a template or other means.

    Devin

    Hey!

Do you have a link where it isn’t working? Maybe we aren’t looking at the same issue in the screenshot.

    Hey pratikthubmar!

The dummy data that comes with version 2.6.4 is the updated and only dummy data that we have.

in reply to: Does Enfold come with Child theme already? #253560

    Hey Marc!

You can get one from the full download that you download on ThemeForest (the one that comes with the PSD folder) or from here: http://www.kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

    Regards,
    Devin

    Hey!

When using the ALB and any of the full width elements it no longer uses the page.php template. It uses the template-builder.php file instead which has custom support for opening and closing the divs correctly.

Edit: Just saw your edit when doing my re-read of the question :)

    Devin

I would suggest just uploading the entire theme folder at once. Any files that have been changed will be written over and there is no risk of an error happening while a file is unable to be accessed.

in reply to: Support search and Font preview #253514

    Hey philippe2812!

The search issue is something we are working on already actually :)

For the fonts, you can see all google fonts from the Google Font site here: https://www.google.com/fonts

in reply to: Fullscreen slider scroll down bug in Safari #253513

    Hey!

If you can set up that same fullscreen+transparent layout on a second unlisted page we can test it out and see whats going on. Just point us to where it is when it is live.

    Cheers!

in reply to: Update offline installation fails #253512

    Hi!

My guess is that its a failure on the server configuration side to properly be able to connect to Envato’s update api/server. If you do not fill in the themeforest name and API information and update the theme files as if it were FTP (write over the whole theme folder with the update) then there should be no issue.

Typically, unless your local server is identical to your live server its a gamble that the two environments will respond to changes in the same way.

in reply to: Demo LayerSlider #253510

    Hey!

The demo data you can import from the Import/Export tab in the theme options has a few slideshows with assets that get bulk imported with everything else.

You could try importing in the sample_sliders.txt file in the theme files layerslider config file (config-layouerslider>LayerSlider>sampleslider) but I’ve never had great results with pulling in pre-configured slideshows with LayerSliders import tool.

in reply to: Default featured image -e.g. Pencil #253223

In that case you would just not use a featured image. Then nothing would show in the big image blog layout.

in reply to: Visual Shortcode Editor has disappeared #253051

    Hey @Lone1971!

This is for Eunoia and the Enfold theme doesn’t have a visual drag and drop editor for posts.

in reply to: Updating to 2.6.4 Not Through Admin #253050

    Hi bdm55!

For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

The internal update checks every 12 hours and should tell you of the update at that point.

in reply to: magic wand? #253005

    Hi spedick!

In the regular visual editor there is a magic wand icon that opens the available shortcodes which can be added to the page or post you are editing. It is still there in the most recent version which is now 2.6.4, the WordPress 3.9 compatible version.

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hey gjankowski!

No, not with the current sorting functionality.

in reply to: Default featured image -e.g. Pencil #253002

    Hi Atlasoid!

Just to clarify, you want a blank space on the whole left hand side of the blog page if there is no featured image set?

    Devin

in reply to: WordPress 3.9 Update #253001

    Hey erinruff!

Download the theme updated from your downloads on ThemeForest first. For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

in reply to: Visual Editor not working after update to WP 3.9 #253000

    Hey!

Make sure your browsers cache has been completely cleared since the visual editor was updated in 3.9. If the active theme has not been updated or any plugins then they need to be updated as well.

    Devin

    Hey!

For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

I’m closing off this topics since its already a bit too hard to follow :)

As others have mentioned you need to make sure all plugins are compatible with 3.9 and that you have no cached version of WordPress’s old visual editor on your computer. The new version is included with WordPress 3.9 and any cached files from it can cause issues.

in reply to: Archive for Category — Display as Masonry #252712

    Hi snmarkov!

If you set the Theme Options blog setting to the Grid layout it will then default all archives to use the grid as well. The setting is in General Settings>Blog Style.

in reply to: Video Media Element does not display YouTube Videos #252607

    Hey!

The theme uses WordPress’s own embed script which is the oEmbed Peter mentioned above. What could be happening is that on older pages the code was already generated correctly but on newer ones WordPress is failing at doing so.

You can test it by switching themes and see if regular embeds work.

    Cheers!

in reply to: version 2.6.4 #252539

    Hey jackyking!

Unless you’ve modified the actual theme files you can just update through WordPress or over FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

Make sure that you also update in order of files changed from 2.6.2, 2.6.3 and then 2.6.4 if you try and update just those files mentioned in the version.txt.

in reply to: Update to wordpress 3.8.3 broken site #252538

With the current update that shouldn’t be happening. If we can take a look at the install live with admin credentials maybe we can spot where the conflict/issue is.

As for updating, this is the only case I know of where an issue has happened. With 3.9 fresh out and the Replete update pushed out this week for it we would normally expect a lot of posts and bug reports if it was a widespread issue.

in reply to: angular last update #252535

    Hey lorebcn!

The framework as a whole needs to be replaced unfortunately. Its the framework that runs Kriesi’s themes and really shouldn’t ever be modified directly unless you aren’t planning to update or you keep a very detailed change log. You could try using a text editor like notepad++ to compare the folders and changes but the git update was 60 changed files with 397 additions and 200 deletions.

in reply to: Visual Layout Builder: 2/5 3/5 elements #252407

    Hey profil77!

They will be fully integrated in with version 2.7 but it looks like the ability to downsize has already accidentally been added in. So for the moment, there isn’t a way except the above.

2.7 will be pushed out next week unless there are any major conflicts with WordPress 3.9.

    Best regards,
    Devin
