    Hey thatryan!

Make sure after you’ve saved the new child them styling options (after importing) that you have all cache cleared. If the newly saved child theme stylesheet is cached or the site is simply loading from cache it would appear not to show.

If you keep having the same issue we can take a look at either the child theme (if you can post the code) or the live site where the issue is happening via provided credentials.

    Hey solarmediapro!

As far as I know there is no known bug or multiple instances of this happening. Could you go in to a bit more detail on exactly what happened, what plugins are installed and active, and any other additional information you might have?

    Hi!

In this case I’m not sure the plugin to scan/check for issues or potential risks has enough weight to warrant any worry.

Most scanning software will flag a few items within the theme even though they are being escaped correctly.

Either way whenever anyone reports a worry/possible issue Kriesi re-checks through the theme and the specific concerns :)

in reply to: Posts not recognized as posts, but as pages #405365

    Hey!

I tried finding a direct link throughout the open topic but I’m not seeing one to a post where the issue is visible.

Since Andy has not been able to reproduce it thus far could you walk us through the exact steps to take so that we can reproduce it either on your install or on our own?

I understand the frustration but without being able to replicate an issue consistently it can be very difficult to try to provide a solution. The cache clearing suggestion is the best answer we have when it comes to erratic behavior on either the front-end or backend. As far as I know this has not been reported anywhere else so it doesn’t seem like (for right now) it is a theme wide bug or issue.

in reply to: Form Android #405184

    Hey Justin!

I tried out the site on my end with both a live device and emulators but in both cases I had no issues with the form text rendering. Do you have the exact device specs that was having issues by chance?

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hi!

There are still support for it in part but when one of the updates a few months back broke things I removed the how-to from the docs since it was causing issues.

Somewhere down the road the plan is to make the sidebar setting effect the shop/product page directly which I think is the ultimate best choice.

For now though, the theme supports doing it via a child theme or functions in the parent but its still a after market customer customization :)

    Devin

in reply to: Move mainblog to subblog with using enfold child theme #336892

    Hi mmc-werbung!

That really isn’t something we can assist with unfortunately. There are a couple of ways you can set up a multisite and it depends on how you want to set the whole thing up.

Moving over the settings is doable from within the Enfold options from the import/export options but if you want to move a database you’ll need a plugin like WP MigrateDB or WP MigrateDB PRO.

    Cheers!

in reply to: Pages editor problem after wordpress 4.0 update #336863

    Hi estercuni!

I can’t access the url right now for some reason but what you are describing is an issue with using an out of date theme version with WordPress 4.0.

You need to be on Enfold 2.9.2+ for it to work with WordPress 4.0.

in reply to: Template Builder is not working #336858

    Hey Khaled_288!

How we fix bugs is by updating the theme. At this point, the theme works in conjunction with WordPress 4.0 and with that in mind we do advise everyone to update their theme files right along with WordPress so that plugins+theme+WordPress will sync up in compatibility.

If you have customized the theme directly, we unfortunately can *not* help you keep those customization. Theme setting configurations however will stay intact except in those areas where older functions have been replaced with the newer configuration settings.

In those cases, its normally less than 10 minutes to change over to the new styles you want. For the vast majority of our users this has had no issue. For those users who rely on their site for business it isn’t generally a problem because they have set up a development site to test upgrades on either locally or on their live server.

I don’t know what your issue actually is at this point but yes your two options at this point are to update your theme and use the new layout settings to reconfigure what you had previously or to request a refund from ThemeForest and move on.

    Best regards,
    Devin

Glad you found the issue and its working as it should now :)

in reply to: Can't edit aspects of theme #336285

    Hey!

That might fix it and its worth a shot if you have a host with one-click WordPress installation capabilities.

With that said, before installing Enfold make sure you can upload images on the new installation and those standard WordPress functions are all working. Then upload the theme over FTP following the steps here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/

    Cheers!

in reply to: Template Builder is not working #336282

    Hi @jejito!

Try going to your WordPress admin and deactivating all active plugins.

Then go to the Dashboard>Updates panel and re-install the 4.0 WordPress update. Once that is done you can re-update the theme over FTP following the steps on this page to make sure no errors happen when updating: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

If you continue to have any issues please open up a new topic with a link to your site and admin credentials in the private data.

    Cheers!

in reply to: Adaptive Images or similar feature #336274

    Hey MeisDesign!

The Advanced LayerSlider plugin doesn’t have a fullscreen option but the theme has a fullscreen slideshow option. That is the only way I know of to get that kind of effect from the theme.

In that case, the theme only needs a really big image and it will then make it fit the browser and for whatever device the user is viewing the site with.

in reply to: Google Analytics Event Code Deleted #336266

    Hi Jason!

The text box uses the default WordPress filters which will cause issues when trying to use code. We have the code element in place that you can use instead and it doesn’t have any filters so code stays clean.

in reply to: Enfold empty zip_folder #336253

We really have no way of confirming purchases here on the forums unfortunately. With how popular the theme is and how many times it is downloaded and installed every day I can assure you that the zip from ThemeForest is correct.

There must be something else happening for you to be getting an empty folder. In that case the best, and I think only, option would be to contact ThemeForest directly.

in reply to: IE7 Bug Report (and fix) in avia.js #336251

    Hi scottybowl!

The theme isn’t ever going to support IE7 but I’ll flag it for Kriesi in case he wants to try it out.

    Cheers!
    Devin

    Hi ivolutionconsulting!

We actually have no connection with ThemeForest to be able to see anything like that. You can try contacting Kriesi directly through the contact form here on the site and I’ll tag him here as well.

Otherwise you would need to contact ThemeForest since they handle all purchasing/accounts for the theme purchase and download.

in reply to: Slow loading teakes like forever #336000

    Hey smorrone!

Difficult to say but my guess would be the server simply has a slow response time. The resource loading time is fine but the time it takes for the server to respond for me (on a fibre connection) is pretty slow.

in reply to: Enfold empty zip_folder #335998

    Hey damian2013!

We have a video walkthrough on installing the theme over FTP which shows what should be happening with unzipping: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/

If the zip is empty on your end the only resource we really have to direct you to unfortunately is ThemeForest support. We don’t have any ability to check/verify purchasers or to edit things on ThemeForest.

    Cheers!

    Hi MICHAELWINN!

Unless you need to target a specific function I would suggest not using onmouseover. Its a sidestep to your issue but any other alternative would be better.

The automated schema output shouldn’t have any effect at all on this however. Does it work specifically it is turned on?

in reply to: Menu is overlapping the logo #335995

    Hi!

Unfortunately the only real solution is using a smaller logo or less menu items (if you must keep the same layout). Ultimately, the layout conforms to the content *or* the content conforms to the layout.

in reply to: Follow up on ticket am #322190 #335993

    Hey!

As far as I know (looking at our internal bug list) there are no other reports even mentioning freezing editor so it seems like this is most likely a local/single instance issue. If we do get a secondary instance of it we can look for any duplicate setups/plugins etc but otherwise its a lot of shooting in the dark.

If you have it at a mostly-working or workable point I would suggest creating (if possible) a dev environment that is a duplicate of what you have now on the same server for further testing and keeping the live site stable.

At that point if we do get any other instances of the same issue we can check easily and try and figure out what the root issue is.

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hey!

Try deactivating all active plugins and see if that helps. The css alone shouldn’t have any conflict like you are getting.

If that doesn’t work your best next step would be looking into a freelance developer to dig into customizing the mobile specific changes and what the conflict is. Support doesn’t really cover customization though we do provide it where possible and as available.

    Devin

in reply to: site loading speed #335988

    Hi!

That is something a freelance developer can customize for you but not something we can do on our end.
