Buddy, you’re awesome!
That’s what I get for copy/pasting css from other projects.
Thanks for the swift response Yigit!
Yes, I tried that and many other combinations. No luck.
Don’t know what the heck is going on.October 31, 2015 at 2:55 am in reply to: Fallback image for video (will not) play on iPhone 6 #527805
Thanks for taking a look.
Hi Ismael. Did you have a chance to check that out? The client is stressing out and I’ve exhausted every solution.
I tried everything. Easy slider. Full-width slider. Firefox. Safari. Chrome. iPhone, iPad.
It works fine in Firefox and Chrome on a desktop.
Here’s a link. It’s live. We didn’t even notice until after launch. This has never happened before with video with Enfold.
And yes, I have the newest version of Enfold and WP.
Thanks for checking it out. ;-)
Thanks Ismael! I will give this a try tonight and let you know. The site I’m working on is currently hidden but if this doesn’t work I will send you access so you can see what I’m trying to do.
Please leave this topic open. I will be back shortly with a resolution.
I’m hiring my media queries pro to get to the bottom of this, and if it’s NOT theme related, i will humbly admit it. But I honestly think it is something within the latest theme update that’s causing my media queries NOT to apply.
Never had issues like this before and my code is ok. Triple-checked.
I’ve been wrong before, but we’ll see.
Specifically, … adding custom media queries isn’t working when added to the (customm css) box for Enfold since the latest update. Had ZERO issues with this before the update. Now, something related to the update is causing chaos to the queries.
Has no one else complained about this?
I double and triple checked my code with CSS LINT and WC3 validator, etc. All good. Or at least no errors that I can see that would cause it would cause it not to work/apply.
Any suggestions? Mobile is EXTREMELY important to my clients (all clients) so this is a big deal for me. I’m sure you can appreciate this.
For you to say that this falls outside the scope of support surprises me.
Yes, the media queries are working, but it’s really odd, for the first time, (2) of the mobile emulators – as well as my own live Android phone keep getting different random results. So so odd. lol
Going to try out Adobe Edge Inspect and see if it helps.
Thank you Yigit for checking in.
Thank you for your help. But I cannot find the “mobile menu” section anywhere. Are we talking about the “Enfold” theme?
No “moblie menu” that I can see.
Oh, you want to ‘LOGIN” to my installation/admin? I thought you just wanted to look at the source.
OK, let me send you private …
The website is live now.
Check it out Yigit.
PLEASE. I need some help. Don’t know what the heck is going on. NONE of my media query customization attempts are applying. They apply in Firebug, but when I add the custom queries in the custom css box, nothing.
You’ve always been a great help to me Yigit. Please help me out of this jam. I’ve spend 5 hours troubleshooting this issue and cannot seem to resolve it.
Guys, my media queries won’t apply.
Please help me out.
Thanks for your help Yigit.
I updated the theme but the add to cart button was still missing.
I finally found the culprit. It was some custom CSS I added.
My mistake. Always humbling being a designer and developer. :-)
I appreciate your response, but I have to honestly say that I’m blown away at the words “low priority” being used here. I would never say this to any client. It basically defeats any good working relationship from that point onward. Being that I have purchased a half dozen themes and have referred many developers to Kriesi, I feel very neglected here guys.
My question is, why did it take 12 days and 4 support techs to refer me to these alternatives?? I would have gladly paid. Not looking for FREE. Just need help.
And Dude, if this is a “low priority” topic and so far outside the scope of help, why didn’t you say this to me during our initial conversation on this topic 10 days ago on Dec 9th?
Wow guys. Just wow.
My advice to you fellas would be to NOT wait almost 2 weeks to tell someone that you’re not going to help them. We have deadlines and paying clients too.
I absolutely hate to ask this, but I have tried everything that has been suggested. I’m exhausted and I’m killing my client by making them wait for weeks on this issue. I cannot launch until this issue is resolved.
Can someone please help me out by logging in to my WP account? Or I would assume it’s on my hosting (being that the mobile menu issue is only on the French version).
This is what it looks like when viewed in (portrait) mode for the iPad : http://postimg.org/image/5cin4ne25/
Thanks for the assistance, but I could not locate this code anywhere in the avia.js folder.
//check if user uses IE7 - if yes don't execute the function or the menu will break if(aviabodyclasses.indexOf("avia-msie-7") == -1) avia_responsive_menu();
