    Very weird. We auto-updated to the latest version and that code isn’t there. We’ll manually install the loop-index.php file and see if the code you are describing appears when we do that.

    Thanks for your ongoing help.

    Cheers.

    Hi Ismael –

    Thanks for you help. Unfortunately I can not find that piece of code and I am pretty sure we are using the most up-to-date version of Corona.

    This is the only code I can find that has the_content:

    the_content();
    }else{
    the_excerpt();
    echo ““.__(‘Permalink’,’avia_framework’).”“;
    }

    Thanks.

    Thanks Devin, I will give that a try.

    Thanks for your response Ismael. I have used GIFs in posts which has worked before if the GIF is created at the actual size that it is displayed at (if the display size of the GIF is less than it’s original size it will appear as a jpeg), but what I really wanted to do was to have the option of creating animated featured images.

    Cheers – this worked…

    in reply to: Cache Optimisation #78011

    Yes we did and it broke our site…. When we actioned W3TC to work in advance mode it wrote new code into the ht access file which inhibited any ability to update or create new posts…. it took us 2 days to work out what it had done to screw everything up – I wouldn’t advise anyone to use that plugin…

    in reply to: Autorotation on Home Page #75139

    That worked. Thank you so much.

    Hi – this question is now 6 days old. Please can someone answer my query?

    Thanks.

    Hi – it’s unusual for you guys to leave a question unanswered for so long – hoping you didn’t miss my post.

    Thanks.

    Ok –

    Thanks for your help Devin.

    in reply to: Removing the Published Date #72044

    Hey Devin –

    We have managed to remove it there, yes. But when you go into the posts themselves the date marker remains:

    Sure:

    The section we are looking to remove the date stamp is in our Classics sections found under Reviews.

    Thank you.

    This is what we put into the custom CS and it didn’t work. Any suggestions?:

    body.category-classicmusic .date-container {

    display:none;

    }

    body.category-classicfilmtv .date-container {

    display:none;

    }

    body.category-classicbooks .date-container {

    display:none;

    }

    Thank you. I will try this and let you know how I get on.

    in reply to: Post Thumbnails in Facebook #65104

    Yeah – we seem to have tried them all, but so far no luck. Facebook seems to be a law unto itself…

    Thanks for your thoughts.

    Hi Dude –

    We replaced the Docutype header and it sorted out the issue.

    Thanks for addressing the problem.

    Cheers Devin –

    We’re still having no luck, though I think it’s more a Facebook problem than a Corona Theme issue.

    in reply to: Post Thumbnails in Facebook #65100

    We have just added this to the Header.php replacing out the <!DOCTYPE HTML>

    <html xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml” xmlns:fb=”http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml” xmlns:og=”http://opengraphprotocol.org/schema/” <?php language_attributes(); ?>>

    It has allowed us to access the featured image as a thumbnail in Facebook posts, but when these posts are shared or linked by other people, the thumbnail is still being randomly called and not the one specified.

    Is there perhaps some code that needs to be added so that the featured image is the default image?

    in reply to: Post Thumbnails in Facebook #65099

    Hi Devin – we have both these plug-ins and have some success with them.

    However, even using these plug-ins, we are never given the option to chose the featured image as a thumbnail for the post. This is really important for us for posts that may be short and don’t have any images within the body copy, but do have a featured image. But for some reason the featured image (which is often the most appropriate) is not ever an option…?

    Thanks

    Also – do you know if this 3G issue will affect iPads aswell?

    in reply to: Corona – Avia images on iPhone #64181

    Hey dude…

    I don’t see how it can be specifically as 3G issue when the images won’t load when I am using my wifi connection at home…

    in reply to: Comments Overlapping Posts #56817

    I went into the comments.php and inserted the code but it did not work. If the title of the comment was longer than a line it pushed upward into the area of the content above.

    I inserted the same code into loop-comments.php as follows:

                <div class=’comment_content’>

    <div class=”clearboth”> </div>

    This fixed the problem.

    in reply to: Comments Overlapping Posts #56816

    Ok – will try again…

    in reply to: Comments Overlapping Posts #56814

    Hi – we did try it but it didn’t work. When looking at the other pages the comments are formatting fine, so we think it’s actually a Track-Back issue.

    in reply to: Comments Overlapping Posts #56812

    Yeah – we just wanted to move it below the line as it currently straddles it.

    in reply to: White Space Between Posts #56809

    Wonderful – thank you.

    in reply to: Please help – Light Box #56425

    Absolutely sure I haven’t changed the URLs or done anything different when uploading the images. When I look at the images from both those example posts the link URLs were both there but they were being called from different places…

    Because you had lead us to the link URL my colleague just simply tried clicking the “link to image” box which did change the Link URL address and it is now working. It just means we have to click the Link to Image button each time we upload an image which I didn’t have to do before.

    The only thing I can think that might be affecting the images this way is that the images weren’t automatically resizing to the width of the column so I changed the medium image size settings in the settings/media to max width 450px so that they would display correctly. Could that have affected the link URL? I hadn’t thought it would as the images I had set as 80×80 thumbnails in another post worked in the lightbox fine.

    Anyway – I only tell you all this just in case this issue arises again in the future.

    Thanks yet again for your help – the support here in the forums has been excellent and it is greatly appreciated!
