Hello, I heard back from woocommerce support and here is the answer:
Have you tried the "Custom Post Type Archives" for Products?
That should do the trick.
In german this is called “Archive von Artikeltypen” in the Title & Meta Section of the yoast plugin. I would have never associated this with the Shop Page only.
So it indeed does the trick and solves my issue here.
I hope this is useful for some other people as well.December 11, 2012 at 8:16 pm in reply to: Removing H4 Heading Tag from MegaMenu, removing H1 Tag in Logo from all but home #99569
Okay…. Asche auf mein Haupt.
I entered the h4 myself in the menu backend in wordpress and forgot about it. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for your help.
Dude: your hint to reconfigure the menu lead me on the right trail. Thanks for that!
I hope that’s it from now.December 9, 2012 at 7:45 pm in reply to: No Meta-Description and correct Title showing at "domain.com/shop/" page #99571
that does not help, all the other categories use the correct information but the main store page doesn´t. It is also difficult to get my head around it: the /shop/ page is a regular page with no other information on it. I is selected as the shop-page through the woocommerce backend. I also added the title and description info there with no effect.
I also filed a question to the wootheme ninjas. I hope that they can help. Yoast does not give support for his plugin sadly.
Well see what happens I guess ;)December 9, 2012 at 6:31 pm in reply to: Removing H4 Heading Tag from MegaMenu, removing H1 Tag in Logo from all but home #99566
I changed it but it has no effect, also changing it to e.g. h2 does not change it in the output. is there any other place where this heading can be pulled from?

I might have “killed” the page already by now. We now built a more static version. I might get back on this later once the project is life and I have more time on my hands. Thank you!
I have good success with the backupbuddy plugin from ithemes. its pricey but after trying every other solution (also the manual way, which killed my settings for the abundance theme) it allows me to upload a perfect clone of my dev environment.June 2, 2012 at 7:27 am in reply to: Portfolios being deleted? + Portfolio Category Selection by Slug #76368
portfolio ist nun auch “stabil”… wahrscheinlich sitzt hier der Fehler vor dem Rechner ;)June 2, 2012 at 7:25 am in reply to: Portfolios being deleted? + Portfolio Category Selection by Slug #76367
You should google for “firebug tutorial”. It is an extension for firefox that will let you analyze a website and let you make changes to CSS on a visual but temporary basis (if you reload, you have the life site again).
it also shows which css code you have to copy in your quick css to apply that change for the life site as well.
Definitely look into this. it is not that hard to learn but will help you with adjusting CSS.
google “wordpress child theme”, follow the instructions and you should be fine. or is that not working?
Does that mean, that I have to create a /css/custom.css in the child theme folder and edit thing in there?
check out this thread I created. Since I was working closely with support they created an entry in their documentation for this.
Okay, I got Ubermenu working: happy happy happy. Will create a new “how to” post later this weekend.
I also still need your email Devin,
I also upgraded to 1.5 so this doesn´t fix the issue. the zoom effect is also a feature of the abundance theme. The extra zoom feature powered by woocommerce is an additional plugin. But maybe this one will work out? I might fork out the 30 bucks if that would help with this issues.
The demo showes that it is possible with this extension: http://cloud.chrome-orange.co.uk/?product=product-with-attributes
I have the same issue and I made a screencast that shows this issue. It is in german and I won´t post it publicly due to bandwidth issues ;)
Can you send me your email so that I can forward the link to someone?February 19, 2012 at 9:37 pm in reply to: Add a product in the cart directly from blog post / page? #63827
with and without the german woocommerce plugin these are translated fine on my site. logout in the menu is part of the abundance setting. have you tried this plugin yet? http://www.code-styling.de/deutsch/entwicklungen/wordpress-plugin-codestyling-localizationFebruary 16, 2012 at 2:40 pm in reply to: change my site language from Dutch back to English? #64092
-wrong post- there are still some links in dutch on the site.
you can use the codestyling-localization plugin to translate (most of) the theme yourself.
thanks a lot for your german support. I know figure out how the code styling plugin works. awesome, know it is up to me. I will translate everything within the next week.
I also use http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/woocommerce-de/ but have not found any issues yet.
