no bother, but unfortunately I can’t instruct you on the changes made to allow me to process orders. My provider did everything. they made the changes. I am on VPS. Perhaps your provider can help?
this is an exerpt from my support records.
all I did was add a few lines to the .htaccess file in /wp-admin/ after making sure that allowing anybody to access admin-ajax.php; was safe.
I was told that In the event that I apply an update and suddenly things stop working, that is the first place to look.
My issue ended up a permissions issue with accessing the admin-ajax.php file for users who are not whitelisted.
The biggest issue was that the’Checkout’ function depended upon the admin-ajax.php file, which was locked down due to it being in the ~/wp-admin/ directory. The issue looked like a complete full-stop one because it would never give the option to check out.
I hope this helps you.
ok .. as a test I deactivated the old version of WC and my site appeared as it should (less the product slider from WC) so I updated WC to the newest version and now my template displays. So was that the issue? I needed to update WC to the newest version first before updating the theme?
I have my frontpage set up as a template. I set up a “home” page with my slideshow and select “frontpage” for the dynamic template and in the template called ‘frontpage’ I have all of the other details I want to show in the front page. If I remover the dynamic ‘frontpage’ from the “home” page then it shows the slideshow (as it should) but nothing else. If I implement the ‘frontpage’ dynamic setting so it calls up the template I get a blank screen.
This is only since this latest update to the theme Replete.
I am running php 5.3.10. No I chose to update the template before Woocommerce. I’m currently running Version 2.0.20

As far as I can see everything is set up correctly. I’ve compared it to other templates I’ve built and this page is the same as they are. These missing products will show up when I click on the “shop” menu and select the Necklaces from the Jewelry category but not when I go directly to the sub menu item Necklaces.
I can post screen shots if you advise how.
I’m told this issue is not just on Safari but also Internet Explorer
The arrow contains the original link that I’m having problem with. I’ve added an additional text link beside it, which works, because we’re in the midst of a membership drive. I didn’t set up any redirects so no there are none.
I don’t think this issue is exclusive to the Mac. I found out my links didn’t work from someone using IE on a PC. I’m pretty sure this wasn’t an issue prior to the latest update.
