Ok this is what i did:
I have a page named News (in default template) then I created a new template called news and add the following components
1- Page Content (to include a piece of text on top)
2- Blog ( selected news category )
Also add a an archive widget to “News” Categories side bar – also have widgets on Blog sidebar
There is not sidebars showing up.
I can sacrifice the content on top but the blog template will include all cat and I only want to show one.July 12, 2011 at 8:52 pm in reply to: Blog module dont show side bar @ dynamic template. #47422

None of the sidebars worked. I have sidebar blog and everywhere widget and not one is showing up.
I was able to remove the white rectangle behind the images but then using a .png with transparent and shadows, its render really bad when browsing with IE 7 or below.June 22, 2011 at 5:41 pm in reply to: Display title option for Columns @ Template Builder #46989
Well I think this is a fault rather than an option. I would say that consistency is part of any design product, not a luxury.June 13, 2011 at 2:38 pm in reply to: Display title option for Columns @ Template Builder #46987June 13, 2011 at 2:37 pm in reply to: "READ MORE" tag not working on blogs within pages. #46247
ok, I am having the same problem, I am a little confused with all the posts, should I replace all the codes above to make it work? or Only some of them? Thanks
I handled to use the template builder for my blog and realize there is an exclusive blog widget sidebar already, I was trying to add the sidebar by creating a new one. Thanks
I change my page to a different format, i will look at this in the future if I need the portfolio.. Thank you for your answer
I just changed the content size to 930 in style.css
padding:0 45px 0 0;)
but now I have the sidebar background image showing at the bottom of the pages that are not portfolio items, example
FULL WIDTH PORTFOLIO ITEM NO WORKING FOR ME
I tried changing the codes in single.php and header.php The sidebar disappear but the text and visible image remain the same width.
Please let me know what I am doing wrong.
