Thanks Yigit, however i need two separate footers. one for the homepage and another for the rest of the site.
Thanks for the reply.
I have chosen the option to display the fixed layout, but by doing so it does not read the mobile media queries I have written (I have put these in the child theme css file, and they read fine when the option of a responsive layout is selected).
I’m wanting to achieve a fixed layout right up until it goes to mobile.
I was hopping to have my own navigation as shown in the link above, do you know how I could just have a simple text link which let’s users navigate the portfolio items?
So it would be “click here for next item” or “click here for previous” but the links will be in there own div and not on the side?
I have managed to disable the Lightbox feature, however the new gallery still fails to load on mobile or tablet. Any thoughts you might have would be greatly appreciated.
Do you know what the handle is for the lightbox? Would it be something like the below?
wp_dequeue_script( ‘lightbox’ );
wp_dequeue_script( ‘lightbox-init’ );

And thanks for all your effort with this. Unfortunately i cannot get the above code to work, however i will try to hardcode something into the menu in order to mimic the effect.
I am also wondering how i can disable the standard Enfold mobile navigation as the menu i am using has its own custom mobile navigation?

Sorry for the late reply, please find a link to the sort of border i am trying to achieve with my custom megamenu.

I was hoping to add the border to the following div ‘megamenu_wrapper megamenu_container megamenu_push’ but i cant seem to make it span the whole page, i realize this is a custom menu separate from the Kriesi theme however any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have hardcoded my menu and it is working great, thanks for the guidance.
Im referring to the additional headline banner. I would like all portfolio “additional headline” banners to be a specific colour? Is it possible to do without targeting each individual id?
Thank-you that worked perfect. Thanks!!!
One other thing, is it possible for all portfolio entries to have a separate colour for the top banner? I have set the other pages in the css by page id but not sure what to do for the portfolio pages?
Thanks again for such great support.January 28, 2014 at 12:21 am in reply to: Mega Menu that knocks down slider below on click or hover #215579
Sorry for my late response. I have already created the menu with the functionality I require, I just need some advice on how to place it into the theme?

And thanks for the quick response. Im actually more interested in recreating the drop down mega menu effect? And i would also like this to knock down the slider below?
Is this possible with the theme?
Thats great the layout is working perfectly. However i have just noticed an error with the image gallery, all the images seem to be stacking on top of one another. Would this be due to changing the grid layout?
Please excuse my ignorance the web page displays fine i had some elements outside of the 1030px barrier. Can i still add some media queries styles using this method? Some elements are very close to the edge on the ipad?
That does work but some elements are going off the page on an ipad. Previously i built a website with this enfold theme using a fixed 960px layout and the website replicates perfectly on a tablet without the use of media queries. Is it going to be possible to achieve the same effect with a fixed width of 1030px?
Hey Josue and thank you for your response. Sorry for my late reply as well i have just come back in after a few days off.
Do i still need to delete all of the responsive files?
Cool, and in regards to css if i copy the shortcodes.css file (for example) and edit the css in the child theme folder i will be able to update without losing the new styles that i have created for the shortcodes?
Thanks for your quick reply. I just have a few questions:
Is the child theme template included in the latest download?
And just to confirm any file that i need to customise i.e functions.php or header.php i simply copy those files into the child theme folder then edit them in there?
Sorry for the late reply, i really appreciate your time for such a stupid request. I have reinserted the original menu CSS so all i need to know now is how to have my menu items span the full width of the page so “Contact Us” is beneath the phone numbers on the far right?
Thanks in advance (again)
Thanks for your reply, i am familiar with media queries but i really am not sure what is going on with the navigation, all i need it the main menu to run the full width of the page within all sized browsers. Could you take a look at the code and see where i am going wrong?
Thanks for the reply, is there a way to completely disable the animation effect?
Thanks for the reply Dude,
I was wondering if there was a way to do it without CSS? Whenever i remove a page title the breadcrumbs shift and it ruins the layout.
One other thing in the link above you will not that my header section is quite low down the page, do you know how i shift the whole website up?
