It was a problem with the widget code. I contacted the creator, who gave me a work around and said he’d fix the coding. Thank you!
Weird. It’s an embeddable widget code from this site: https://edshelf.com/profile/kindled/blogging-tools
I’m not having that issue when I load the page. Maybe it resolved?
I’ll contact them because it may be an issue with the way they code the widget. I just was confused because even when I had two different widgets, if I put them on the same page, they stacked instead of staying in their column/widget.
Interestingly, I deactivated all my plugins, and it did come back. Then I reactivated all of them… and it was still there. Weird. Thanks!
Hmmm… I added some code from a different post and refreshed the page and this time the code I added seemed to work. So, I guess I resolved the issue. I’m still not sure which header the contact form used, but it’s better now. :)
I’d still love to have the ability to change font size without messing with the code though. :)
I would really, really like to see the ability to change font size and weight for headings and text without having to go find the CSS (as part of the admin theme setup area, maybe). I’m not fabulous with CSS, and I’m always afraid I’m messing with the wrong piece of it… I’ve used other themes with this ability, and I’d LOVE to see it with this theme because this theme is so amazing!
Thanks!June 22, 2012 at 12:05 pm in reply to: Click on Portfolio image to link to external site? #79081
If I used the WooCommerce plugin, could I disable to shopping cart aspect and just use the product gallery? I haven’t used WooCommerce before, so I’m not really familiar with it.June 19, 2012 at 9:56 am in reply to: Click on Portfolio image to link to external site? #79079
But the point of the portfolio is to showcase the different items available. Making them the background slider defeats that purpose. Did you look at the link provided? I can’t imagine that there’s not a way to have the image be a link instead of a lightbox pop up. All the images on the page already have links associated with them, but the link is being overwritten by whatever code creates the lightbox pop up.
