    Thanks Basilis,

    I’d like to pretend I know what that means and how that works but to be honest I don’t have a clue. Any pointers would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    I was looking for this code too as I had the same problem – thanks Yigit.

    On a similar note is there code that fixes the width of the telephone and date fields? Both are set to ‘Small’ size but the input boxes are still stretched.

    Thanks,
    Marc

    Hi Ismael,

    Here is the code that I am currently using:

    #top .aviaccordion-title-on-hover .aviaccordion-preview {
    opacity: 1;
    filter: alpha(opacity=100);
    text-align: center;
    }

    h3.aviaccordion-title {
    position: absolute;
    left: 0;
    background: rgba(0,0,0,.3);
    padding: 10px;
    top: 10;
    margin: 0;
    text-align: left;
    }

    #top .aviaccordion-preview-title {
    display: block;
    padding: 0;
    }

    li.aviaccordion-slide:hover .aviaccordion-excerpt {
    opacity: 1;
    }

    .aviaccordion-excerpt {
    opacity: 0;
    -webkit-transition: all 0.7s cubic-bezier(0.230, 1.000, 0.320, 1.000);
    transition: all 0.7s cubic-bezier(0.230, 1.000, 0.320, 1.000);
    padding: 10%;
    }

    #top .aviaccordion-slide:hover .aviaccordion-excerpt {
    background: rgba(0,0,0,.6);
    padding: 20px;
    display: block;
    width: 80%;
    left: 50%;
    top: 50%;
    transform: translate(-50%, -50%);
    position: absolute;
    }

    #top .aviaccordion-preview-title-wrap {
    display: block;
    }

    #top .aviaccordion-preview-title-wrap {
    background: transparent !important;
    }

    Thanks
    Marc

    Hi Basilis,

    Thanks for your reply. I can’t see any reference to the colour being #fff in that section of the css. Do I need to include an additional line of code for this? I did include the page link in the private section but here it is again http://www.marcgodfreeweddings.co.uk it’s at the bottom of the home page.

    Thanks for your help,
    Marc

    Perfect – Thanks Yigit!

    in reply to: Removing alt text from images #714201

    Ah… ok I thought it was working but…

    When you click on load more the alt tags re-appear however the images in the first section don’t have them displayed. Confused to say the least!

    I’ve tried as Yigit suggests and that didn’t seem to work so have created a login for you.

    Thanks for your help,
    Marc

    Hey Guenni007,

    I was just looking at removing the popup text that you get from hovering over an image. Not too sure what I’ve done but it’s just kicked in and seems to be working (ie the popup text is now gone).

    I am guessing for SEO purposes there should be both a title and alternative text added?

    Thanks,
    Marc

    in reply to: Comments section not displaying on posts #655142

    Ah ha… now that make sense!

    It works using both methods – thanks!

    Thanks Ismael,

    I do have WP SEO installed and know the option you’ve suggested. I am guessing that’s the problem… I ‘DO’ want my blog posts to be searched and indexed in search engines as they contain a lot of relevant content. Wouldn’t using ‘noindex’ harm my SEO by excluding these posts or have i misunderstood this concept?

    Thanks
    Marc

    in reply to: On-Page Errors Detected #636193

    Thanks Ismael,

    Understood and thanks for the clarification. I’ll take a closer look when I get time to see what if anything I can do to resolve them but as suggested I’ll concentrate on content and other SEO factors for now.

    Cheers
    Marc

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks for your reply – links attached. Hopefully you will see that they all have the same Title and Meta descriptions and are being flagged as On-Page SEO issues that need correcting. I am not too sure how to get aroud this with Pagination set on.

    All help greatly apreciated!

    Thanks,
    Marc

    in reply to: Android Mobile – Not displaying correctly #587278

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for the reply. Yep, I’ve cleared the browser cache on my mobile but the problem still persists. I’ve checked my iPad with Chrome and it does work ok, so seems to be Android related with the exception of the odd occasion on my desktop.

    Cheers,
    Marc

    in reply to: Main Menu on iPad & breadcrumb – tweak needed #481472

    Thanks for your reply Elliott,

    Unfortunately this doesn’t fix the problem other than allow me to switch the menu to the mobile view when changing the 900px value. Is there anything else I can try?

    Also any thoughts on the breadcrumb alignment issue in portrait view on the iPad?

    Thanks
    Marc

    Perfect – Thanks Yigit!

    Have a good weekend
    Marc

    Great, Thanks Yigit!

    The search option is now on the same level. Any thoughts on how to remove the 2 verticle lines either side of the search icon?

    Thanks again
    Marc

    Hi Guys,

    Sorry to dig this one up again. I’ve just updated to the latest version of Enfold 3.1.5 and have now I’m experiencing the same menu item issue (as above) on iPads in landscape view.

    When viewed on an iPad Air the ‘Search’ option on my menu drops below the other menu items which in turn covers up the breadcrumb of other pages. Here is a previous screen grab of the same problem http://dev.marcgodfreeweddings.co.uk/IMG_0006.JPG

    The code above worked from Josue on the previous version of Enfold so I guess a little tweak is needed but I’m unsure what to change.

    Can you also let me know what code I need to include to remove the 2 verticle lines either side of the search icon?

    Thank you!
    Marc

    Great thanks both!

    Just one last thing that I have noticed:
    When viewing my portfolio the portrait images have a white coloured border to the left and right hand sides. Is there a way to colourise this to match the background colour of the frame all images are viewed in?

    Thanks again
    Marc

    in reply to: Home V11 Home page image sizes #364276

    Great thanks Elliott!

    Thanks Josue,

    I assume that the above code replaces and not complements my existing code of:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 990px) {
    .title_container .breadcrumb { right: auto; top: 75%; left: 0; margin-left: -2px; }
    #top .title_container .container { min-height: 60px; }}

    Thanks

    Thanks Elliott,

    1&2 is is now resolved – thank you!

    For 3 here is a screen grab for you:
    http://dev.marcgodfreeweddings.co.uk/IMG_0006.JPG
    As you can see both Client Area and the search icon are being dropped to a second line. On my live site these are all on the same level which is ideally where I want for my dev site. Apointer in the right direction would be greatly apreciated.

    Many Thanks
    Marc

    in reply to: Background & Footer sizes #312755

    Hi Ismael,

    My website is http://www.marcgodfreeweddings.co.uk and is running in the Boxed layout mode. I have a background design that I would like to apply but in order for it to look right I would like to know the correct size to use. The same applies to my footer but I also need to ensure that this is correctly sized so it will look good on mobile devices.

    Thanks
    Marc

    in reply to: Blog questions – tidying up #301214

    Hello,

    Copied and pasted as per your suggestion. I does indeed remove the ‘Blog’ element but still complains about the the line of code that follows it.

    if('post' == $post_type)
            {
                    $category = "";

                    foreach($category as $cat)
                    {
                        if(!empty($cat->parent))
                        {
                            $parents = get_category_parents($cat->cat_ID, TRUE, '$$$', FALSE );
                            $parents = explode("$$$", $parents);
                            foreach ($parents as $parent_item)
                            {
                                if($parent_item) $trail[] = $parent_item;
                            }
                            break;
                        }
                    }

                    if(isset($category[0]) && empty($parents))
                    {
                    	$trail[] = '<a href="'.get_category_link($category[0]->term_id ).'">'.$category[0]->cat_name.'</a>';
                    }

            }

    Is there anything obvious that you can see that is causing the error I posted above?

    Thanks
    Marc

    Perfect Yigit, that has resolved item 1&2 – Thanks!

    Any thoughts on item 3 the breadcrumb trail and how I can tidy that up?

    Thanks for your help
