Ok. Maybe this is my fault. I’ll try to explain a bit clearer.
I want the image size to be smaller – and the space between each portolio thumbnails to be larger then the original theme. I’m happy with the way the front page displays after the page loads completely. The problem is before it loads completely. The images, or rather the image borders are bigger when the page loads as they are when the page is loaded completely. I don’t want that effect to take place. I want the images/border/container to load in the same size as they are shown after the load.
You can visit http://www.wibe-music.com to see the effect or see the screenshots here:
I would like a text felt to appear when you hover the mouse over each portfolio picture (thumbnails). This text explains a bit more about each portfolio item. It could be meta-tags, a text field or the excerpt. Do you know any easy way of doing this?
I wasn’t refering of the whole page jumping. It is just the portfolio pictures witch are at first “full size” and then zooms into the right size. You can see it over at http://www.wibe-music.com.
I just want the portfolio pictures to be loading in the same size as they appear after they load.
Thanks agin, Nick.
I’m sorry to say this is not working. I’ve tried pretty much every possible place in the loop-portfolio-single.php outside of the php tags with no luck. Sorry for causing trouble for you.
I would like a separation line just beneath the picture. Do you have any idea how to make this work?
This is really strange. I’ve disabled all of the plug-ins, copied the original code from functions.php back to the page but the shift is still there. Any idea?
Thanks again, Nick.
The reason I cut the code from quick css was because the image in the portfolio (big picture) didn’t show up as it’s supposed to. Only the top portion of the picture shows.
sorry if I’m a complete idiot now. Where should I put the string for the seperator (hr_flag)? In witch php-file?
Thanks for great support.
I see your point with the <div class. I tried pasting the code in line 51 of my loop-portfolio-single.php but I got an error message. I’m not shure where to paste it elsewhere. Do you know?
Underneeth the picture I really want i divederline to go trough the width of the post. Do you know how I can do this?
I don’t want to remove the banner area/text. I just want it to be closed as a default and possible to open if wanted.
That didn’t work. You can head over to http://www.wibe-music.com to see the effect. It seems like this controls the image inside the <div>. It’s the <div> witch contains the image I want to stop shifting. Appreciate the efford.
Ok. I see. This is not exactly what I had in mind.
The text showed up like this: http://www.wibe-music.com/wp-content/exampletext/notlikethis.png
I want it to show up like this: http://www.wibe-music.com/wp-content/exampletext/exampletext.png
The example text in the image is in bright white – just done in Photoshop.
font-family: ‘Princess Sofia’,serif !important;
font-size: 10px !important;
padding: 10px 20px;
Just nitpicking. The images change size one second after they have been loaded. Is there a fix for this?
That didn’t work so good. You can see the result over at http://www.wibe-music.com
What am I doing wrong? I copied the css string and pasted it in Quick Css. Should I paste it somewhere else? Should I edit the string?
