Fixed. This issue had to do with some of the customization a developer did to the theme I think. Once I found the right location in single.php it worked fine.
Thank you Devin!
Holly, I am experiencing the same pagination problem. The pagebreak code built into WordPress does not work with the Newscast Theme. I am running the latest WordPress and version 2.0.2 of Newscast. I am also unable to find the previous_posts_link() and next_posts_link() code in any of the theme files. Stuck on this one too. Hopefully someone has an answer for us.
You can download Apple’s SDK for the iOS. It includes an iOS simulator for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Retina.
Here is a screen shot of the error on your demo site using the iPad2.
The white column on the right that runs the length of the page is only visible on ipads. It breaks the footer and the catnav_wrapper. Any thoughts?
The slider works on my iPad 2. There is no mouse over event on iOS so when you touch a pane it goes to the link. BUt, it does cycle through the features.
I returned the style.css, style1.css and the header.php to the original code. My problem line disappears. But, a line is still missing on the right bottom of the catnav_wrapper. I think it may be related to my issue since my problem line is very near to that div.
This still missing line problem is visible on iPad on your live demo site as well.
The problem appears on iPad 1 & 2 as well as in Apple’s iPad simulator that can be downloaded from their dev site.
Would it help if I link to a screenshot of the issue?
I am having an issue with the display:block as well. It is causing spacing problem in simple forums. This is only visible by logging in so I setup a temp test account for you to check it out. I’m not sure which section of the style can be tweaked to fix this.

When I switch to the default WP theme, the issue goes away.
It appears the news theme is adding style statements to all images at display time.
It is adding the directives: style=”opacity:1; visibility: visible; display:block”
It appears it is the ‘display:block’ that is causing the problems, but I’m not clear on how to resolve this.
Dude, First and foremost, thank you for an excellent template and starting point. In addition, your code, comments and support forum are all very helpful. I’ve managed to follow this thread, create a new template file, and apply it to a post successfully. There seem to be two issues remaining on the resulting page:
1) The author line breaks. I tried tweaking the entry-head class, but this had no effect.
2) The comment section spans two columns with a check box below the text box. This one has me quite puzzled.

I greatly appreciate your help.
