Also forgot to mention I’ve had some mods done to the background slider – transferred the modifications to the new theme files with winmerge…September 17, 2015 at 2:35 am in reply to: Flexible grid gallery not working on 2 pages (works perfectly elsewhere) #504466
There are 2 problems with the home page (URL in private content):
1) On the homepage, the flexible grid gallery is not loading ALL images – there are 38 images in the gallery, but only the first 8 get loaded. It then continues to reload only the first SAME 8 images repeatedly – in what seems to be random order. The other 30 images do not get loaded at all.
2) On the homepage, when the ‘hide sidebar and content’ button is clicked, a row of thumbnails appears at the bottom of the page. When you mouseover the thumbnails, a clickable tooltip (our custom modification) should appear above the thumbnail. This is currently not working. See link below for an example of a correctly functioning gallery (tooltips and flexible grid gallery both working as they should).
Thanks!September 16, 2015 at 3:29 am in reply to: Flexible grid gallery not working on 2 pages (works perfectly elsewhere) #503793
I have upgraded everything including the theme, and for my trouble I have lost a modification of the background slider that allowed the thumbnails in the background slider to disappear, as well as custom change of the “Hide menu and content” button.
In addition, as expected, there has been no improvement in the behaviour of the background slider tooltips on the home page or of the the way the flexible grid gallery loads on the home page – it still only loads the same first 8 images repeatedly.
I don’t need to elaborate any further but to repeat the flexible grid gallery on the home page only loads the first 8 images in sets of 8 (in different order) again and again and again. In addition, the tooltips do not show in the background slider gallery on the home page. I don’t think I need to use screenshots to explain this do I?

Any thoughts? I must had I have already had the avia.js file modified by Nick to allow the toolrips to be clicked as you can see. That works fine in all other pages but doesn’t explain why the home page is not working properly…

Another problem I have found on the First page is that the tooltips are not showing in the background slider gallery either… Not sure if that’s related to the flexible grid not loading correctly.

I can happily report that I found a fix for the problem on the second page. This problem has since also been found elsewhere, and the common theme was that it occurred on pages with URLs containing ‘2’. I changed the URL from 2 to ‘two’ and problem solved. Any idea why?
Still doesn’t explain the problem on the first page – maybe there is a conflict with the embedded youtube video? I’ll remove it and see what happens.
Not sure what you mean by “strong tag surrounding all of your content”…
I have had modifications done to the avia.js (and related files) which makes me reluctant to reinstall the theme… Have recently deactivated all plugins for another reason and I didn ‘t notice that that helped…
Anyway will try the css

Yes I created a file called php.ini, added your code to it, and it worked! Sorry i did not read your reply the first time!
OK I will try that sidebar code…

I couldn’t find php.ini but found a file called nophp.ini – would that be the same thing more or less? Not sure how to create a php.ini file? I’ll google it…
I added the lines above to the end of nophp.ini and it doesn’t seem to have helped – when I save the menu it seems to forget that the Main Menu should be located in Flashlight Main Menu…
With the opacity issue, I just would like the background more transparent, not the text and logo as well…

I’ve found it myself – it was in the theme customization options… Had to set it to a static front page rather than blog posts.
Problem solved – sorry to trouble you.
I hate that whenever you make changes there always unknown ramifications which you then have to sort out…
Regards – thanks for your support – I find Kriesi support to be excellent and if I ever need another theme I’ll look at Kriesi’s themes first – and I recommend my friends to do the same…
worked like a charm!
I had a look at Woocommerce and Flashlight settings and couldn’t find a means to remove this any other way… Not saying there isn’t – any way this fix worked! Thanks again.
Don’t worry guys – I think I’ve sorted it. I don’t think I actually need to replace the modified files anyway…

Have added the code to the quick css and it works! Not sure why the problem suddenly arose in the first place.

The host provider has changed the parameters to increase the input. I have tried deactivating plugins to see if the problem is solved and nothing happens…
The problem persists and I’m not sure why. There is a new woocommerce update I have yet to install so I will try that but I’m not hopeful.
Just an update… I have sorted out the product page formatting – seems to have been related to gravity forms outputting css which I have disallowed in gravity forms settings…
But the gravity form does not appear in each product page for some reason. Not sure why. Can someone please look at this and give me an idea why gravity forms does not appear in the product page?
Here is shorted URL for a sample product page… http://goo.gl/raB4TA
