    Just to clarify, it’s not the spacing per say, I just want to get rid of the line completely

    here’s another screen grab of what it looks like now with the border removed:

    Thanks a lot for your help!

    Thanks Devin,

    Do you have an email I can send it to. I found where to remove the hr/border line in the css but the block to the left of the line is still there and I can’t see where to get rid of it.

    in reply to: Apply Google Font to Menu #79602

    I found the answer here:

    http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/some-css-changes

    Just added this to the custom css area:

    #top .main_menu .menu li > a {

    font-family: “Oswald”, sans-serif;

    font-size: 12px; color: #999; text-transform: uppercase;

    }

    in reply to: whole Portfolio instead of related entries #62599

    worked for me. Thanks!

    in reply to: Apply Google Font to Menu #79601

    Hi Ismael,

    I’m trying to do the same as stephenbarros. I’ve downloaded the google fonts plugin but the main menu only changes when I apply a google font to the body tag, which then effects all the body text. How do I change the menu font so it matches my headers without changing the body font?

    Thanks!

    in reply to: Too many horizontal breaks #87549

    Hi Devin,

    Under the logo (the nav is now under the logo so in this image it’s the hr line under the nav)

    http://www.v-u.ca/files/hr1.png

    and also above the footer:

    http://www.v-u.ca/files/hr2.png

    These lines are constant throughout the site so they’re not part of a custom template. My client wants a super minimal, clean site so I want to remove these but can’t find where.

    Many thanks!

    in reply to: Angular: Homepage slideshow size #88803

    Found it – I changed 340 to 620, uploaded the functions.php back onto the ftp, and re-uploaded the featured images so that the new sizes would take.

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>930, ‘height’=>620); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize

    Thanks! … again!

    Hi Ismael,

    To keep things simple i decided to disable the prettyphoto lightbox all together on all devices. So now the wordpress gallery images open up the PhotoSwipe mobile-friendly lighbox on all devices but the portfolio slideshow images do not. When I asked Raygun, maker of PhotoSwipe, the same question, they say this:

    Adding click=fullscreen to your shortcode will make it so that clicking on a slideshow image opens a PhotoSwipe slideshow of all the images in the portfolio slideshow. Adding fullscreen=true won’t do anything to clicking on main images, but it’ll add a little icon to your navigation that, when clicked, will open a similar PhotoSwipe slideshow.

    You can see the fullscreen=true option in action on this demo slideshow, just click the little four-arrow icon in the nav to see it -> http://demo.madebyraygun.com/portfolio-slideshow/2012/04/12/fullscreen-mobile-friendly-gallery/

    Can I add this code somewhere in the angular theme so that my portfolio slideshow images open up the Photoswipe just like the wordpress thumbnails do now?

    Thanks

    Perfect. Thanks so much for your reply.

    Awsome. Thanks so much!

    in reply to: Changing individual portfolio item pages #63187

    Hi,

    I’m trying to do the same thing (have to image display at 100 percent, which in turn would push the credits below). I replaced

    .ajax_slide .flex_column.two_third {

    min-height: 1px;

    }

    with

    .ajax_slide .flex_column.two_third {

    min-height: 1px;

    width: 100%;

    }

    .ajax_slide .flex_column.one_third {

    margin: 20px 0 0 0;

    width: 100%;

    }

    .postid-102 .ajax_slide .flex_column.one_third {

    margin: 20px 0 0 0;

    width: 100%;

    }

    .postid-402 .ajax_slide .flex_column.one_third {

    margin: 20px 0 0 0;

    width: 100%;

    }

    and nothing seems to be happening. I reset my browser and emptied the cache but nothing.

    Any advice?

    Many thanks

    Thanks Ismael,

    I replaced the code but that doesn’t seem to do anything.

    Any other recommendations?

    Many thanks

    in reply to: Too many horizontal breaks #87547

    The only element on my frontpage template is the portfolio element. I double-checked – the frontpage is set to use the welcome page which uses the frontpage template. I figuued out how to remove the hr from under the portfolio category header by creating a new template for the other pages/categories but I still can’t find where to remove the one just below the logo/main header.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

    in reply to: Angular: Disable lighbox on overview page #88559

    oops – spoke too soon. I think I figured it out based on the same premise. I created a new template and applied that template to the portfolio pages that correspond to the portfolio categories.

    Thanks!

    in reply to: Angular: Disable lighbox on overview page #88558

    Oh, and I also noticed that this only happens on the front page items. So if someone were the select works>projects from the manu (which links to the category) the same still happens – the overview and he single post both show the gallery/lightbox. Anyway to change that so that the gallery doesn’t show on overview, just the lead image and credits?

    Thanks

    in reply to: Angular: Disable lighbox on overview page #88557

    Thanks Ismeal – that did the trick, although it would still be good to have the overview pages that one could quickly click through for a summary of each story, but this is closer to what I was trying to achieve.

    Thanks!

    in reply to: Angular: Disable lighbox on overview page #88555

    Better yet, for mobile purposes especially, it would be great if when visitors clicked on the overview image, it took them to the single page instead of opening the lightbox.

    Hello,

    What about under the Logo and header. When there’s no block text, the portfolio nav tabs (+, -, x) overlap those rulers but I can’t find where to remove them? ie: http://www.v-u.ca/files/Picture6.png

    Much appreciated!

    in reply to: Angular: Thumbnails in Portfolio? #75555

    Thanks dude, the thumbnails appear now.

    Just a note for anyone else reading the post wanting to do the same thing – little thumbnail arrows appear over the lighbox image when viewing on a mobile device which is why it was disabled in the first place I’m assuming.

    in reply to: ANGULAR: IPHONE IMAGE DISPLAY #79804

    I downloaded the theme again and replaced it but the iphone display seems to be the same. Any news yet from the lightbox creator? I love the theme but only wish it displayed properly on mobile devices.

    Thanks!

    in reply to: Angular: Thumbnails in Portfolio? #75553

    Hi Dude, sorry for the late response. My client is finally ready to go ahead with the site but really wants thumbnails for the galleries. In the email you sent me you had mentioned changing to the default skin. I followed your instructions:

    quote:

    Hi, it seems like the skin you’re using doesn’t support the thumbnail gallery. You need to switch to the default skin. Please try to replace:

    elements.prettyPhoto({ social_tools:”,slideshow: 5000, deeplinking: false, overlay_gallery:true, default_width: ww, default_height: wh });

    with:

    elements.prettyPhoto({ theme:’pp_default’, social_tools:”,slideshow: 5000, deeplinking: false, overlay_gallery:true, default_width: ww, default_height: wh });

    If this doesn’t help you redownload the lightbox files from here: http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/ and unpack the js/css files into avia/js/prettyphoto.

    I downloaded the latest version of the theme but still no thumbnails. And I downloaded and replaced the prettyphoto css as per your instructions. Has anyone else mentioned anything? is there a workaround?

    Thanks!

    Mila

    Thanks Ismael – I sent you an email with the link

    in reply to: Angular: Thumbnails in Portfolio? #75549

    Thanks Dude, I changed the js as instructed but it doesn’t seem to be taking. I created a new gallery, added 3 images and still no thumbnails. Is there something else I need to enable? I can send you url via direct message or email if you have it.

    I appreciate the response!

    in reply to: Angular: Thumbnails in Portfolio? #75547

    I notice that thumbnails appear on the prettyphoto lightbox on the plugin’s page, but they are not included in the Angular theme. Is there a way to enable them? For example: http://binaryhideout.com/#prettyPhotogallery-1/0/

    I don’t know how these would translate on iphone, but would be good to have when viewing from desktop.

    Many thanks

    Hi Devin, I suspected a much. Thank you for your reply.

    in reply to: Angular: iPhone Image display #76013

    Hi Ismael – thanks for your reply. Do you have an email or is there a way to direct message? It’s for a client so i want too keep the link confidential. I’ve been searching for a solution to fix iphone display but no luck.

    Many Thanks

    in reply to: Angular: iPhone Image display #76011

    Bump. Is anyone having issues with this at all?

    in reply to: Angular: Lightbox background color #76060

    You rock! Thank you for taking the time to respond, this worked like a charm … now if only I could figure out how to make the thumbnails appear larger on an iphone … :)
