Hi Dude! Thanks. Here it is: http://singingholidays.com/our-2011-singing-holidays/March 2, 2011 at 6:17 pm in reply to: Issue with IE9 not loading images on portfolio and index page in Avisio #41317March 1, 2011 at 1:01 pm in reply to: Issue with IE9 not loading images on portfolio and index page in Avisio #41315
Thanks for the reply. Will you be able to offer a fix shortly before IE9 release or do you think this ‘bug’ will most likely be fixed by MS? Of course, I understand that Safari, Chrome and Firefox are better browsers but a lot of people use IE (sadly) so I just want to feel confident that this issue will be resolved one way or the other.
Good to know there’s a permalink fix in the pipeline. Hurray!
Thanks loads for your help James.
Thanks for this – didn’t work sadly. I don’t think it’s the fault of the theme. It’s got something to do with Recaptcha integration. Have a look here if you get a moment: https://groups.google.com/group/recaptcha/browse_thread/thread/3e47d7af7f774e65/adc094cf2a64ab3d?pli=1
It’s certainly a weird one! If you have any other thoughts that would be great.
I’m guessing there’s no way round this at present. The only work-round (which isn’t perfect but should do the job) is to use this redirection plugin (http://urbangiraffe.com/plugins/redirection/)
Hope that helps anyone who has the same issue.
You are a genius! Thanks – that did the trick in IE 9. I’ll take your word for it re IE7. I tried it with Microsoft Expression in IE 6 and had the same issue with just the first title in the ‘Why Avisio’ page. Weird.
Anyway, really grateful to you for getting back to me so quickly and with a solution.
With Display 2 is there anyway I can just change the ‘Facebook or Twitter’ social button to ‘LinkedIn’ instead? Is there a way to customise where the social buttons/icons point to?
Your code in the footer.php says:
array( “name” => “Facebook Account”,
“desc” => “Enter the name of your facebook account to create a small icon link within your footer”,
“id” => “acc_fb”,
“std” => “”,
“size” => 20,
“type” => “text”),
I’m probably being really stupid I know, but where is that drawing the FaceBook url from so I can go and change it to LinkedIn?
Thanks loads – hope you can help
