    Hi Dake,

Thank you for the links and please find the details below.

    1. I think the problem with the scaling of page images, is that I imported them as backgrounds with fixed dimensions.

    Hi Rikard,

    I took a few screenshots:

    1. On mobile this image is only visible for about 1/3. The rest to the right is cut-off. How to have it scaled to fit?

    2. The issue here is the grey areas below the blog grid images. Simple Image Size would probably solve this, but I don’t know where to start. Which image category do I need to change to resize the grid?

    3. Ok. But what for the archive pages (categories). I don’t see this option when I edit categories.

    4. See same image as 2.

    5. Please see image below.

    Hi Josue,

    1. I tried using a Code Block with a background image, and positioned the text with “padding”. It works. If there is another way to do it in Enfold, let me know, and i will post a link.

    2. & 3. Ok thank you!

    Hi Andy,

Ok, thank you, I will try it then. There is something wrong with my code. When browsing on mobile, there’s a grey area below the images. I’ll see if the plugin solves that.

    Hi,

I have inserted this code, which I found on the forum: “.avia-content-slider .slide-image {width:306px;height:184px;overflow:hidden;}”. Although images are now cropped, there are still minimal differences in height, so I guess somthing isn’t right. Plus there are some jagged edges, visible on the featured image of the post I mentioned below. (It’s a hi-res picture)

Basically, I want to avoid always having to import images with the”right” proportions. I though some similar code would scale and crop them where needed. I had a look at the plugin, but unfortunately not quite straight-forward for me as a beginner.

    Hi Rikard,

Thank you for reminding me about the cache plugin. (It’s too complicated for my coding knowledge, so I actually forgot about it.) I desactivated it again, but no result. Initially, the widget was working though.

I have been trying to reduce the 50px padding between blog and sidebar (as well as the horizontal distance between blog images), so I thought I had done something wrong. However deleting my quick css didn’t help either.

    Hi Andy,

Thank you for helping out. The support here is amazing. The question is related to Corona, but in the meantime I moved to Enfold (faster than I had planned). Now, I must keep Enfold active for support. I’m basically starting from scratch again. So, please consider this solved for now. If the problem returns later in Enfold, we’ll see..

    My appologies,

    Hi Rikard,

Please find the link below. You will also notice the blog images look unsharp, probably related to the scaling?

    Hi,

The problem is solved. I re-uploaded the theme and instead of overwriting double files, I chose “skip”. Also increased memory to 128M as suggested here on the forum.

    Hi Yigit,

Sure, please find the link below. In this post, you will see the picture of the hoverboard has a border at the bottom.

I know the image has the border because it is a link, but somehow it should be possible to distinguish text from images.

    Thank you,

    Hi Ismael!

Great, thanks man. Just one more thing: Can you guys then help with the blog category that should only display titles? Is that feasible?

    Cheers,
    Poirot

    Hi Yigit!

Thanks for helping out! After some trial&error, based on your code, I managed to get the result I wanted. If it’s useful to others: On some pages I found it easier to use a background jpeg with the chosen color. By changing the dimensions, it’s easy to control the exact area to cover.

    Hi Elliott!

Thanks for helping out. What is a grid row element? I am not a coder and the only shortcode I found for columns in Corona is the one I mentioned above.

I think it would be easier if there was a way to override the column shortcode, but maybe the <div style> code is not valid here.

    Hi Yigit!

Edit: It’s working again! So it worked, forget the message below :-)

I tried, but it didn’t work. I would also try reinstalling the Corona update, if there’s an easy way to do that from the Dashboard?

    Hi Yigit,

Ok. So, there is no way to get Corona theme options working without the update? Because I fear that my Envato account was hacked or cleared. I only have one envato account, which i used to purchase Corona back in 2012. I can login, but everything is now cleared.

    Hi Yigit,

I will check with them. I have an Envato account, and a Theme Forest account. I now longer know the difference. The problem is I do not know where to log-in into Theme Forest, it always takes me to Envato?

in reply to: Theme options not working #315127

    Hi Yigit,

I went to Theme Forest (Envato Market), but found nothing under my downloads. Also they say I’m member since Jan. 2014, but I have purchased Corona back in 2012 or 2013. Am I doing something wrong?

    Poirot
