It’s okay. I am sort of lazy now. I’ll just let it be. Thanks anyay!June 28, 2013 at 8:28 am in reply to: Multiple Portfolio Pages for Different Portfolio Categories #126410
Thanks, but it doesn’t work. Anyway it’s alright, I guess I’ll have to just skip this.
I didn’t want to enable woocommerce, as other users on this site have itchy fingers. It’s just a product showcase. Thanks anyway!
Nah this has no effect actually… I’m just wondering, what are the objects in that column? Besides .box and .widget i mean.
Even when I tried to ‘inspect element’ on Firebug, it magically disappeared.
This is really odd. Why am I the only one seeing it. No wonder you guys said it was the same. I used anonymouse and I see it, I used Firefox, Safari, I.E., and Opera and I see it. But when I used Safari on my iOS, it doesn’t appear.June 27, 2013 at 11:14 am in reply to: Multiple Portfolio Pages for Different Portfolio Categories #126408
Yup I did, I have two Parent Categories and one is ‘Gold Collection’, the other is ‘Silver Collection’. I just didn’t choose to display them on the pages yet.June 27, 2013 at 8:33 am in reply to: Multiple Portfolio Pages for Different Portfolio Categories #126406
Okay this is good. As my portfolio categories have sub categories, is it possible to show the parent category as well?
Currently if I click on a portfolio item, it shows ‘in Accessories’. If possible, can I have it something like ‘in Gold Collection > Accessories’ instead??
Thank you so much!! This is exactly what I needed to achieve!!
Okay last related question; the opacity of the menu column in the portfolio posts’ page seems to differ from the other pages, are we missing something here??
There seems to be an additional ‘column’ under the main nav column.
Thanks!June 26, 2013 at 7:55 pm in reply to: Multiple Portfolio Pages for Different Portfolio Categories #126404
Thank you so much, Nick!!!! You are a lifesaver indeed!
Anyway, one last question. For the portfolio items page, is it possible for me to hide the post date??June 26, 2013 at 8:34 am in reply to: Multiple Portfolio Pages for Different Portfolio Categories #126402
Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be able to bypass the coming-soon page automatically when you go to nanarevedela.com
Use this id/pw: viewer / tense
Thanks Nick, sorry if I wasn’t clear on this earlier.June 25, 2013 at 8:37 am in reply to: Multiple Portfolio Pages for Different Portfolio Categories #126400
Thanks for that! I’ve already did as you’ve instructed. It’s working exactly how I want it to be.
However, on the main portfolio display page, can I have them like how it is on the demo?
To log in, use the following id/pw: viewer / tense
It’s at nanarevedela.com. You’ll need the admin password to get in, as I’ve enabled a ‘coming soon’ widget. I’m not comfortable providing the admin password on the forum, is there a way I can PM you?
Okay sorry, I just cleared the cache and it’s reflecting now finally.
But where do I change the font face, size, colour, etc., of the menu?June 15, 2013 at 2:44 pm in reply to: Frontpage Template Header Background became fullscreen without any intervention #124516June 14, 2013 at 10:58 am in reply to: Frontpage Template Header Background became fullscreen without any intervention #124514June 14, 2013 at 9:13 am in reply to: Frontpage Template Header Background became fullscreen without any intervention #124513
I know I could use a image of a white strip and add it to the custom css under background-image, and I was thinking of using z-index for this. What do you guys suggest?June 14, 2013 at 7:12 am in reply to: Frontpage Template Header Background became fullscreen without any intervention #124512
Thanks for the reply.
I do not wish to have a border below the menu. What I needed was a strip underneath the menu, height from the top of page to just below the menu.June 14, 2013 at 6:41 am in reply to: Frontpage Template Header Background became fullscreen without any intervention #124510
Thanks for the reply, Devin. I found the problem, there was a blank entry on the slider. Thanks again.
One more thing, if I would like to have a strip of white above the header background and under the logo and menu, without actually adding it to the header images, possible?June 9, 2013 at 3:02 am in reply to: Remove breadcrumbs and search area from 'no sidebar' template #123754
Thanks for the reply! Okay I guess I have to live with the smaller size.
Anyway, if I would like to replace the default jQuery slider with one that I wrote myself, possible?
Thanks so much for replying. I’ve added that to the custom.css, but I’m still not seeing the changes.
One other question, is it possible to have the slider fill the full length of the screen (1600px by 566px)?
