Ohh man! Sorry to bother you about this, I should have known this from before, Thank You ;)
Hey Dude – I have the portfolio issue or at least it seams so to me. It loads the first item in the post, but it´s then not possible navigate further.
- Would you mind to make a check when you have time, much appreciated.

Hi Again Dude and Devin ;).
02) BLOG Is solved.
03) Preview Images is solved.
04) FULL SCREEN – tried to add the code to the Quick CSS in theme options. But so far it has not had any effect. Clicking a Vimeo embed movie on the full Screen icon results in the website going fullscreen, and the movie going full screen, but within the original movie frame size.
01) Did not try out mutiple portfolios yet, but early I recall deactivating drop downs in the menu.
05) Contact Page – would like to add White space between the Contact page headline and the e-mail form. Tried a few thing but did not succeed. Should be fairly easy right or ?February 25, 2013 at 9:44 pm in reply to: Frontpage and Portfolio seperation, Blog activiation #107550
Got in contact with the host – they turned of the PHP cache. My site is responding pretty slow at entry. Perhaps i got a little to many big files. Saw another post form you regarding CDN and “WT3C” plug ins.
But i´m not sure how to apply or what to do with this:
Deactivate and uninstall any other caching plugin you may be using. Pay special attention if you have customized the rewrite rules for fancy permalinks, have previously installed a caching plugin or have any browser caching rules as W3TC will automate management of all best practices. Also make sure wp-content/ and wp-content/uploads/ (temporarily) have 777 permissions before proceeding, e.g. in the terminal: # chmod 777 /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/wp-content/ using your web hosting control panel or your FTP / SSH account.
Login as an administrator to your WordPress Admin account. Using the “Add New” menu option under the “Plugins” section of the navigation, you can either search for: w3 total cache or if you’ve downloaded the plugin already, click the “Upload” link, find the .zip file you download and then click “Install Now”. Or you can unzip and FTP upload the plugin to your plugins directory (wp-content/plugins/). In either case, when done wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/ should exist.
Locate and activate the plugin on the “Plugins” page. Page caching will automatically be running in basic mode. Set the permissions of wp-content and wp-content/uploads back to 755, e.g. in the terminal: # chmod 755 /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/wp-content/.
04) Just tried to put it in under Quick CSS, will wait and see.
03) Did not have time setting up the preview images yet, got work incoming last week.
I´ll still leave some feedback, when i get to it.
Thank you ;)February 19, 2013 at 12:07 am in reply to: Frontpage and Portfolio seperation, Blog activiation #107548February 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm in reply to: Portfolio Greyscale Overlay and Lightbox / deactivations #104870February 5, 2013 at 11:38 pm in reply to: Portfolio Greyscale Overlay and Lightbox / deactivations #104868
Hi Devin – Thank You replying, got it solved now
- Matthew Woodard also using the theme wrote: Go to Template Builder > Portfolio and under Portfolio Details? Set it to “No, open entries … “
That was the thing i was looking for, so thanks to you and Matthew.
Solved ;DFebruary 4, 2013 at 4:45 pm in reply to: Portfolio Greyscale Overlay and Lightbox / deactivations #104866
Essentially i just want to go to the post, keeping the logo and header, menu above – like when you have once opened a case, then clicking on the headline > arriving at the post without the “lightbox/|X|<|>|”.

Hi – Well i still get em´ the “|X|<|>|” top left corner. I can live with it for now but i will run some more checks with friends having PC´s and see.

Thanks Ismael – but i did that several times now, removing the file from the server replacing it with changed file. Maybe i just have to try a few times more, but i now tried about 5 times. I think thou somehow without having much clue about programming, that the // just changes the code text to a non code one right? (uses at instructions etc.)
Just thinking perhaps as an alternative it could be something like: “jQuery(container).avia_deactivate_lightbox();” – I am not suggesting that outright – but merely some code that is not “// removed/deleted” but an active deactivation code.
Don´t know really – i just managed to test on 5 different mac´s, from 5 year old running older system and safari version to one 14 days old brand new running Snow Lion latest versions of all. A friend tested on PC with Firefox and Explorer. (Did not give versions thou) but all test had light boxes on. For my own test i cleared all history and all cashes. (I´m not running any other super cashing apps).
As we went through this once and it actually worked one or two times, i am wondering what cause the Code not to have the intended result.
I know that just a little bit of coding writing error can be an issue. But i directly copied your suggestion into the avia.js overwriting the active version (the code is greyed out as intended). I used Komodo Edit to to the replacement.January 31, 2013 at 8:55 pm in reply to: Portfolio Greyscale Overlay and Lightbox / deactivations #104859
Thanks Dude – that did the trick for the Greyscale overlay – I actually never went into that section of the Euonia options, thought i was only for building new templates – but i´m a WP noob.
Have you got a suggestion for the Lightbox issue? – last time we where around this, you send me a link where the lightboxes was deactived on my site. But apparently i must have done something wrong since then.
Anyway thanks again – cheers ;)January 30, 2013 at 7:35 pm in reply to: Portfolio Items sorting solution, implementation ? #104904January 30, 2013 at 2:05 pm in reply to: Portfolio Items sorting solution, implementation ? #104903January 30, 2013 at 1:52 am in reply to: Portfolio Items sorting solution, implementation ? #104900
Okay! i replaced all server content with the backup and the site is running euonia normal again.
I would thou still like to solve the Portfolio Item order – would Prefer “Random” Sorting – else i take any other method that is not based on “Date”.
Ismael – I would be most thankful if you could double check the suggested functions.php order alteration – and that it really does work with the Euonia theme.
Thanks in advance

Urgent Help needed!, my site is completely messed up now and i have been trying to solve that Portfolio Oder thing now for more than two months. I have even asked if somebody from Kriesi would help me with the site, and i would off course pay for that help.
Anyway – my site is for sure not looking like the Euonia template anymore. If it is due to the functions.php changes (see above correspondence) or if it is because i have updated to the latest WP version i do not now?.
Any suggestions welcome.
I have a server backup, but only taken after the WP update. Else it would be back to reset – Not exactly what i had in mind to be honest.
Got +50 portfolio cases waiting to be worked through and taken online. I am a freelancer and this is starting to hurt just a bit to much.January 29, 2013 at 11:05 am in reply to: Portfolio Items sorting solution, implementation ? #104898
Hmmm tried it, but unless WP is extremely slow, it did not change anything.
I´m wondering…. I updated to the latest WP version, does euonia support that ?
Stewart ;)January 28, 2013 at 10:38 pm in reply to: Portfolio Items sorting solution, implementation ? #104896
Hi Ismael – i tried the suggested and put in the code at the very bottom of the functions.php code
Tried a few variations but the
$avia_config = “rand”;
$avia_config = “rand”;
- Can also be that WP is updating slowly, that is quite common right ?.
Last functions.php i have uploaded is now set to:
$avia_config = “title”;
$avia_config = “rand”;
Anyway my site looks quite messed up right now take a look: http://sorenzen.comJanuary 27, 2013 at 8:24 pm in reply to: Portfolio Items sorting solution, implementation ? #104894
Hmmm i checked the “functions.php” file in Komodo Edit, can´t find that exact code line: $avia_config = “ASC”;
(Neither in functions-eunoia.php)
What am i doing wrong ?
:/January 27, 2013 at 6:43 pm in reply to: Portfolio Items sorting solution, implementation ? #104893
Thanks Ismael – I´m not a programmer so i´ll ask a few more details.
Does the code from Matthew make the oder of the portfolio items controllable/sortable ?.
In functions.php – where do it put in the code or more importantly where not to ?.

Embedded Video Layout
Is there a work around to avoid the black (caption) areas above and below an embedded video ?.
(Basically i want to see the video framing (full width page) only and not having a portrait box layout, with the vid in the middle)

Vimeo Fullscreen vs Safari Browser.
Question: can it be that the Safari Browser does not work properly when entering fullscreen mode on a Vimeo embedded vid ?
I get: Goes to fullscreen mode, then shortly jumps back to page layout, but keeps the fullscreen mode within the post image area.
(so one sees only a cropped part of the vid)
Safari Browser: Version 5.1.7 (6534.57.2)
System: Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard)
No problems with FireFox and Chrome.

Hey Peter – yes it´s true, when i follow the links posted by you the lightbox is out. But when i access the site for both chrome, safari and firefox going to the front http://sorenzen.com i get the lightbox. Weird ? – must be some cashing issues. Anyway thanks for looking into it.
