  • Hi Peter,

    Thanks for the reply. This website is being used for my company so they want the blog on another page accessible through the menu. That’s why I customized the the front page (index.php) a bit and removed the loop so it doesn’t display posts. I want those on another page (kbctech.com/blog). Hope this makes sense. I checked reading settings and not set to static home page. Any more great advise? Thank you.

    Here is what the blogoverview template file looks like. Please help if you can. Thanks again, Jerome

    <?php

    /*

    Template Name: Blog Overview

    */

    global $avia_config, $more;

    $avia_config = array( “paged” => get_query_var( ‘paged’ ), “posts_per_page”=>get_option(‘posts_per_page’) ) ;

    /*

    * get_header is a basic wordpress function, used to retrieve the header.php file in your theme directory.

    */

    get_header();

    ?>

    <!– ####### MAIN CONTAINER ####### –>

    <div class=’container_wrap’ id=’main’>

    <div class=’container’>

    <div id=’template-blog’ class=’content grid9 first’>

    <?php

    /* Run the loop to output the posts.

    * If you want to overload this in a child theme then include a file

    * called loop-index.php and that will be used instead.

    */

    $more = 0;

    get_template_part( ‘includes/loop’, ‘index’ );

    ?>

    <!–end content–>

    </div>

    <?php

    //get the sidebar

    $avia_config = ‘blog';

    get_sidebar();

    ?>

    </div><!–end container–>

    </div>

    <!– ####### END MAIN CONTAINER ####### –>

    <?php get_footer(); ?>

    Hi Devin,

    I apologize the site was sandboxed when I asked for help earlier. Now it’s launched and public you can go to http://kbctech.com/blog and see that it only lists the sidebar archives but not the posts in the main container. Do you know how to fix this.

    Thanks,

    Jerome
