    Hi,
    You are over complicating it:

    My question is:

On two of the pages I want to add a team memebr that is justifued right with the tex that is aligned left and wrappign the team member. I can’t find a way to do this with the team member photo.

Second question is: I want to add Twitter, LinkedIn and Gogole+ below the authors bio on the authors. It has nothing to with the “Social Share Button” as you suggest as this can’t be used on the authros page.

When creating authors page it is done from the users section. It gives you the opportunity to add social profile buttons. However, they do not appear on the page.

    Thanks
    Vince

Hi Ismael, services is a page. I am using it like a category with nested pages below it. My mistake above I used the incorrect terminology.

    Hi,

Thanks for that – unfortunately it doesn look great. I may just have to drop it down to the content.

    Thanks anyway

    Hi Ismael,
That is brilliant. I have been scratching my head trying to get the URL architecture right so it behaves more like a CMS. Thanks to your help the portfolio category is working perfectly now.

in reply to: Portfolio Slug #432683

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Maybe I am not being clear here. I will explain a little better:

The reason that I have /blog/%category%/%postname%/ is because I want all of the posts under blog to have the category blog disaplying in them to distinguish and seperate them from the pages that will have similar categories.

    For example:

    ON PAGES:
    domainname.com/services/marketing

    ON BLOG
    domainname.com/blog/marketing/hello-world

If I remove %blog% from the URL it will become:

    BLOG:
    domainname.com/marketing/hello-world

That’s a problem. It is something I need to sort out. Now this theme and it’s maker is pushing this framwork more towards a content management system and these are the kind of issues that you / he are going to be dealing with when it starts getting used more in a professional environment. So rather than sending me off to the stock WordPress site, can you or anyone else help in getting these URL’s to disaplay how I want them?

    Thanks for your help Ismael.

Unfortuantely, that did not work, probably due to the customisations I have on the preview and snippet.
I understand your point about the space not being enough to display the images. Maybe I think probably best to leave them off then.

    Thanks

    HI,

I already have it set-up with portfolio-item in the permalinks.

The problem I am having is it is picking up /blog/ and appending it to the portoflio URL. This is wrong. I already have blog set-up in the blog section here: /blog/%category%/%postname%/ and do not want it in the URL of the portoflo section.

One thing I noticed missing is on the mobile version the post preview images are not showing. I checked on a smartphone and nothing there?

    Hi Ismael,
    Thank you for your reply.
I have enclosed a screenshot of what I want to achieve. The header image starsts in it’s usual palce and stretces across the top of the sidebar.
I don’t want this on every page only the ones I choose.

    Hi Andy,

Sorry this post is a few days old and I have opted for the alternative.

What I had meant is – the title that appears in the bar above the post. It was not an H1. However, I have now turned that off.

    Thanks
    Vincent

    Hi Yigit,

Many thanks for that and it worked perfectly for a few minutes and then dropped back down again. I’m not sure why.

    Thanks

    Thanks Yigit.

    We are almost there.

I have inserted the code above on line 127. There are a couple of issues with it:

    1. The address is on the left side below the copyright. I need it to go to the right side poarallel to the copyright.

    2. |The HTML you provided, will this pass for structured markup (Microdata), or do I use something else?

    Thanks
    Vince

Hi, please can I get someone to answer this comprehensively? I want to add this to the very bottom footer (socket) NOT THE WIDGETS FOOTER. I want it on the right hand side parallel to the copyright info – I want it as structured data. I’m nto sure hwo to implement this?

    Thanks
