@ Boudoirs you can display remaining stock levels on the product page, is that what you mean? I haven't seen any option in the settings to show product 'out of stock' and 'low stock' badges on the product image int he catalogue page though.

to femme fatal: it seems you're using woocommerce, which is already made for you to be able to display the available stock for your products.

Thanks Peter! i went and purchased that and have now activated it, but they are showing behind the product images. Is this something you can help with? Here's an example page http://femmefatalecosmetics.com.au/product-category/enchanted-polish/
You can see the red 'out of stock' box appearing just behind some of the OOS items. What can i do to put that in front of the image?

Hi,
Is there any way to get a badge like the 'sale' one but for out of stock items, saying 'out of stock'? With constantly fluctuating stock levels I really would like it for customers to be able to see out of stock items from the category page :)

I actually don't know about that. I think with the way woocommerce outputs variable products, it just checks the lowest possible price and then puts that as the "base" . So it wouldn't really check to see if the variable as a whole is on sale since it isn't actually capable of it.

Thank you Devin, what about on a page like this though: http://www.vyanayoga.com/shop/bamboo-camisole-open-heart/

Where you have to select the item you want from the drop down and then it shows the price that is crossed out? Is it possible to show the crossed out price by default at the top of the page (where the price is bigger)?

Hi amaule97,

Add this to your quick css or custom.css file:

#top span.onsale {
background: green;
color: #fff;
min-height: 32px;
min-width: 32px;
padding: 4px;
font-size: 12px;
position: absolute;
text-align: center;
line-height: 32px;
top: 6px;
left: 6px;
margin: 0;
-webkit-border-radius: 20px;
-moz-border-radius: 20px;
border-radius: 20px;
display: block;
}

You can then modify it however you want. The text can be changed with a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/woocommerce-onsale-extender/ though I think it requires the "pro" version to change it manually.

Just randomly came across this thread, I've been looking for something like this. Is there anyway I can make the sale price more evident, i.e. the price that gets crossed out when it's on sale? I want to make it bigger or more obvious - is there anyway to do this? Is there anyway to change the text of the "SALE" image that comes up with the CSS above? Thank you!

Not with anything we could help with via support. I only meant if the plugin was already automatically adding the code but its currently set to invisible we could make it visible.

You would have to look into a plugin or custom coding for something like what you want to do.

Hi Devin,

I don't think I have made myself clear; I am looking for the ability to have, on the image thumbs on product categories, a badge just like the SALE one. This time I wonder if it would be possible to assign different texts like NEW on some thumbs, or PRE ORDER for others.

Hi bevlogenverf,

Try to wrap Devin's code with this:

@media only screen and (min-width: 960px) {
   //Devin's code here
}

The code should look like this:

@media only screen and (min-width: 960px) {
   #top .social_bookmarks {
      position: fixed;
      top: 400px;
   }
}

or

@media only screen and (min-width: 960px) {
   #top .social_bookmarks {
      position: fixed !important;
      top: 400px !important;
   }
}

Hi

The theme videos here should help get a general understanding: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/abundance/templates/video-tutorials/

The biggest difference with Replete is that the products don't use the avia media manager but instead use the wordpress media manager so that any woo commerce add ons that effect photos can work without issue.

For the social icons, Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

#top .social_bookmarks {
position: fixed;
top: 400px;
}

The top positioning will be ignored if you are using the big slider and set to 600px down so that it isn't floating inside the slideshow but you can over-rule that by using this instead:

#top .social_bookmarks {
position: fixed;
top: 400px !important;
}

just change the 400 value to whatever you want to use.

Hi,

I just looked , updated the Woocommerce plugin and updated to 3.5 and same thing is happening to me. Please hold on I am reinstalling the theme again to see what modifications Woo made to the plugin .

Ok. This is what needs to get done. Paste this chunk below over lines 720-750 of the fresh config.php file the end points (lines 720 and lines 750 should match up to the starting and ending line below.

remove_action( 'woocommerce_after_single_product_summary', 'woocommerce_output_product_data_tabs', 1 );
//add_action(    'woocommerce_after_single_product_summary', 'woocommerce_output_product_data_tabs', 1 );

	$avia_config['woo_related'] = $output;

You can take a look at this image to see what's going on. http://i.imgur.com/tVzKs.png

Hi Nick,

Yes, I commented out lines through 720-721.

I deactivated the WooCommerce Product Add-ons plugin, and the duplication was still there, so I reactivated the plugin.

Then, just for the heck of it I commented out lines 728-730...and that eliminated the duplication of the "Product Description" area. But as a result it knocked down the number of related products from 4 to 2.

I don't have a URL to give you as the website needs to remain hidden. However, if we are able to communicate privately I'd be happy to provide you with credentials.

Thanks!

Hi,

I am not sure as I don't have that plugin. Can you take it off and see if things change? This way can rule out the plugin.

Are you sure you commented out the two lines in the first step above - meaning , your lines 720 - 721 each has two slashes before them // ?

Can you do a screen grab please and you can paste it on imgur.com or elsewhere. Better yet if you have a url i can look at, so can provide you with a solution on the spot?

Thanks,

Nick

I have followed the directions exactly as you have provided above. However, the 'Product Description' area now appears twice...once where it supposed to, then the 'Related Products' area appears, then the 'Product Description' area appears again.

I am using the WooCommerce Product Add-ons plugin, could that be part of the issue?

Hi,

I looked at your screencast and your site for a while. I use Chrome as my primary browser, and I didn't see a single problem with menu , and nothing shook as in your screencast. Javascript is not throwing any errors,

Your form on the bottom of page doesn't work but I think it's expired.

Your 'buy t u r b o tab' button in the splash image on home page doesn't work, but its not linked.

Part of each page uses http and another part uses https to reference scripts, styles and images. Please try to be either https or http consistently throughout the page. (some versions of IE get angry)

Please try to see if you experience the same jumping when you use another pc running chrome because on my 2 laptops your site looks good to me.

if you would like i can post a screen cast, but I think the issue here is your browser. Do you have updates turned on within Chrome? Uninstall and re-install it please and see if that helped.

Thanks,

Nick

Hi thorsky,

I'm having issues pulling up the site right now. About half of the files are getting 404 errors and the page isn't loading.

Is there another link where the site is hosted now so that we can take a look at it some more and see whats going on or can you check into the one you provided above?

Regards,

Oops.. .yes I have been workingvery long hours and was probably tired

Here it is

http://www.screenr.com/lNh7

By the way everything else on the site has been awesome

I completed a large site very quickly

And client is very pleased with how it looks and works....

This is last small quirk for us to resolve and it will then be a perfect site and one of my companies premier showcase pieces...
