One way I have found to make the blog full-width is to create a page (named "Blog") & designate this page for the blog in the theme options. The terms are all pretty similar here so we may not be talking about the exact same thing. If you do want to alter things further, just make a screenshot pointing out exactly which elements you are trying to modify and we'll see what can be done. Try to undo the steps you made and check the category page again and check if the strange formatting is gone. Unfortunately, I am now getting some strange formatting when the category archive page displays. I'm not sure if this is related to your changes above or not. After the first two posts are displayed in the loop, the remaining posts do not seem to have the same container attributes, and the post-titles are all much larger than the post-titles of the first two entries. I believe you are referring to the meta data for what is shown in the slideshow, correct? I do not want that displayed, and have removed it as you noted. My more recent question was regarding editing the format of the meta data for the thumbnails below the main slideshow. For the time being, I have removed the code that displays the portfolio title, but I am still curious about the best way to edit it's characteristics should I decide to display it again.
