Please try following css code (I'd add it to css/custom.css or the quick css field):

body {
    background-attachment: fixed !important;
    background-repeat: no-repeat  !important;
    background-position: center bottom  !important;
}

hi, thanks for the advice but your plug-in isn't working here.
I even deleted the image i set for background earlier and set the “zindex” value of the plug-in to “1” but, as you can see, no image show up..
(in the homepage i used your plug-in’s box and entered there the URL of the image i want for background)

Edit:

using another plug-in (simple fullscreen background image) and putting z-index to 0 will override the theme’s appearance. The background image, in fact, became the background of the central area too. With negative z-index no image show up.

Isn’t there a way to fix this editing some strings in the theme’s code? Maybe it’s a very noob question but, can’t i find the background options in the theme’s file and set it relative?

Edit-2:

Anyway..the main thing i’m searching to do is that i want to see the lower part of the image (coffee trees), i think we can avoid to make the image resizable and all the other things if you tell me how i can fix the image to the bottom of the browser window instead of the top :)
So if the browser windows is small the user won’t see the sky at the top of the image but the coffee trees!

Hey,
I think you need a plugin which calculates the background image size based on the browser dimensions. Eg my plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-backgrounds-lite/ can do this but I'm sure there're alternatives out there.

Hi, thanks for the release of this amazing theme..i need a little help:

As you can see: http://amicicaffe.eu

i set the homepage in boxed view and i set a background image (2000px width). I want the background image to be resizable on any resolution so i will upload a new image of 2500px but.. how i make it relative to the browser window?

I need only the background to be relative (and maybe fixed at the bottom, that is the most important part of that image).

I hope i was clear, i want that people on 13” screen or 27” screen see almost the same background.. thank youuu!! :)
