Isn't it possible to program a function somewhere? That the text gets trimmed after 200 words for example. Because I've got more then 80 articles and otherwise I have to edit all the articles with the <!--more> tag.

Thanks

YAY! I fixed this myself.

You need to change the following:

If you open '/wp-content/themes/propulsion/functions.php' @line 40 you'll see the following code:

$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>450, 'height'=>335); // images for portfolio entries (2,3,4 column)

you can then set it to something like:

$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>450, 'height'=>450, 'crop'=>false);

Bump.

Getting frustrated now with what in every other way is a great theme!

I've tried other things that are on this forum like http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/product-image-size-2

I've also noticed others seem to of had the same problem.

I can't even find the 290x216 in any config file, including the functions.php.

I've tried changing the settings in WooCommerce -> Catalog.

Every time i use the regenerate thumbnail plugin.

A test product can be viewed here using the login posted previously:

http://www.ensignltd.co.uk/shop/test-product/

If anyone else can help me with this i'll happily offer a reward of $30..

Help me Obi Wan, you're my only hope.

Hey Alex,

Have you tried regenerating your thumbnails? Try this: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

I just did a quick test with the theme and woo commerce using a large portrait image and the image slideshow holder adjusted fine without any cropping like I'm seeing on yours. Your base image doesn't seem to have any issues so maybe it just has the wrong thumbnail settings somehow.

Regards,

Hi Devin,

Thanks for the reply.

Take a look at http://www.ensignltd.co.uk/shop/rc01-guest-fees/

You'll see the image on the top left has been cropped. We need to make it taller so the whole image is shown.

You'll need to login to view the link. Use:

Hey!

The more functionality does indeed work, the thing is that one of your plugins removed the button. Dont know whcih button you tried to click instead when you said you added the more tag.
What you need to do is switch to the html view and add this line of code:

<!--more-->

this would normally be generated by the button, but since that button is gone you have to enter it manually.

You can see an example here: http://www.editionsquaideseine.fr/blog/ at the first post. open the post in the editor then switch to the "html" view and you will see it.

Cheers
Kriesi

Hi !
Oops! I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. You speak of the page: http://www.editionsquaideseine.fr/blog/
On this page the excerpt does not work.
I also noticed some small bug by using a translation file of PO / MO on the pages of the blog detail pages (ex - http://www.editionsquaideseine.fr/nouveautes/nouveaute-2/): (next entry) and (previous entry) are not translated from the template single.php

Could you help me clarify these two points?

Thanks

PS: I will be pleased give you the translation in French of the theme PROPULSION.

I am using the template builder in Propulsion and a dynamic 3 but the depth of the slider keeps changing on each image. Is there a way to force it to crop and keep that depth constant. I have regenerated all images but that makes no difference

Thanks dude, but is it possible to get rid of the "Review" module? I do not need the ability for people to review my products...
