Hi in3sixty,

In the themes footer.php look for this line:

<?php echo $kriesi_at_backlink; ?>

You can remove it and the link will no longer show up.

If you have any other questions just make a new topic and we'll do our best to help :)

Yes thanks for your help. One new question is,

How can I remove and replace the text below the footer?

It now says, "© Copyright - Infuse Hair Design - WordPress Premium Theme by Kriesi"

Okay so I've decided to take your advice and purchase another theme, Coherence. Unfortunately it doesn't install.

Do I need to uninstall Choices? Specifically it states,

Installing Theme from uploaded file: themeforest-2279326-coherence-responsive-business-portfolio.zip

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install fail

Is there a simple solution to this?

Hi,

Coherence has the option to change backgrounds for every page. It includes a variety of background images that you can tile as a pattern or simply put as a center background.

Or you can do some styling on your custom.css, something like this

.container_wrap.main_color {
background: url("../images/skin1/bg_tile.png") repeat;
}

Regards,

Thanks again Dude. I've been working with wp-backgrounds-lite. Is there a way to "tile" a small image in the background to make a pattern?

Coherence: http://themeforest.net/item/coherence-responsive-business-portfolio/2279326 and Flashlight: http://themeforest.net/item/flashlight-fullscreen-background-portfolio-theme/discussion/616050 offer this feature out of the box. Other themes (like Propulsion, Eunoia) which can be used in the "boxed" layout mode do not offer such a feature out of the box however you can easily add it by using a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-backgrounds-lite/ (I'm the plugin author) or http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/better-backgrounds/

Thanks Dude. I suppose I misunderstood the theme features. It sounded like you could do common customizations, or at least what seems common, I am new to Word Press, like change the background for each page or post.

Kindly recommend a theme that you create, which has this capability. Mahalo Dude!

Hey!
Choices does not offer a boxed layout and it's not easily possible to apply a bg image to the entire body background. However you can try to add an image to the main container by using following code:

.container_wrap.main_color {
background: url("../images/skin1/bg_tile.png") no-repeat center center #fff;
}

.container_wrap.main_color .container{
background: #fff;
}

You can change the color values if you like and you need to adust the image src path, etc.

Regards,
Peter

I've been working on this for a few days, looked at many Kriesi posts as well as for other themes. I am simply trying to insert an image into the background of each page in my nav bar. In fact I would be thrilled if I could figure out how to change the image background in an individual post. I'm not referring to how to do this in the content area, rather in the main page background. In Dreamweaver you would go to modify page properties. Please help!
