Hi,

I visited the site, inspect the widget. You didn't replace the wp-content/themes/broadscope/images/skin2/menu_arrow.png. Please download the image I provided with the transparent background then replace the image file.

Regards,

Hi Ismael,

Thank you for the help. I placed the file (via ftp) and the arrow now appears within the widget. But the area is still a white block and the text is still unreadable. Perhaps I've forgotten something but I'm at a loss.

Hi,

The problem is the arrow image. Please download this image then place it on wp-content/themes/broadscope/images/skin2/menu_arrow.png.

Hi Devin,

Here you go:
http://redesign.shpc.org/?page_id=284

You'll notice the widget items on the right are completely white and although function, are illegible.

Thanks again!

I can't seem to find a page on your site using a custom menu in the sidebar or widget area. Can you link directly to a page with the menu added in and live so we can inspect it?

Regards,

Hi!
I am having the same issue and followed your advice. However, although the custom menu on the sidebar is visible, it is white against the dark-themed background, and the text is not visible. The menu works but you can't read the text. I added the code you recommended (css/custom.css) but it didn't change the background or text visibility.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Jamesrds,

Do you have a live page I can take a look at? It makes it a bit easier to inspect the code and give you an exact style to change :)

I have the Broadscope theme and am using the dark skin. When, I add a custom menu widget via the page option the color is white and I cannot see the text. This is for the sidebar. If I use a different widget that is not the custom menu it comes out fine. I know the custom menu is using the image menu_arrow_png but if I invert this it changes my main menu background as well. Also, prefer it to be transparent/function like the other widgets.
