Hey Jesper,

Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

#top.woocommerce-checkout .container .clear {
clear: both;
}

The previous clear fix you have in your custom.css I think might still be needed but this will change it only for the checkout page. Add that in there and see if it helps solve the text issue.

Regards,

Thanks Dude, you are briliant :-)

Company name is now mandatory, thanks.

2) I do not sell out of our country, so a Mandatory extra field (like phone number) would have been great. However I will have a look at the VAT Extension. Thanks.

How about my first issue, the text on top of the fields, will I be able to move this as well eg above the form (and how)?
You will see the text clealy when using IE, and the text will float arround when using Chrome depent on what you type in in other fields.. If you eg. type all (but Companyname) and hit Place order, the text is split.

This is the ugly text: "Opret en konto ved at udfylde informationerne nedenfor. Hvis du er eksisterende kunde, log da venligst ind med dit brugernavn i toppen af siden."

I hope you can help me out here.

Thanks in advance

/Jesper

EDIT:
btw, my struggle with the text came after updating Woocommerce 1.6.4 and Propulsion to 1.5.

I Just found that WooCommerce in the meantime have released a version 1.6.5.1, I will do an update, and see if this solve my problem with the "lose" text on my Checkout page.

I wil keep you updated.

I think you can use following code to override the standard company field attributes:

// Hook in
add_filter( 'woocommerce_checkout_fields' , 'inoplugs_override_checkout_fields' );

// Our hooked in function - $fields is passed via the filter!
function inoplugs_override_checkout_fields( $fields ) {
     $fields['billing']['billing_company']['required'] = true;
     $fields['shipping']['shipping_company']['required'] = true;
     return $fields;
}

You can add the code to the bottom of functions.php.

2) I think this extension WooCommerce VAT will help you.

The annoing text is comming from this sentens in woocommerce/templates/cgeckut/form-billing.php
<p><?php _e('Create an account by entering the information below. If you are a returning customer please login with your username at the top of the page.', 'woocommerce'); ?></p>

To see it, please select an item in the shop, and go to checkout.
https://shop.jed.dk/index.php/kasse/

In Chrome the text is placed to the left of "Phone"
In IE9 the text is placed on top of the forms
In IE9 Compt. mode the text is placed below the forms before password fields, and then my Productmenu looks ugly...

Does anyone have a sugestion to, where and how I change the posision of this text. I would like to get the text below the Account Password fields if possible.

You can use a ftp software like filezilla to download/upload propulsion/framework/php/function-set-avia-frontend-functions.php. You can edit the file with any text editor of your choice (eg notepad++ or sublime text 2).

Hi Jesper,

You can use the visual editor and then copy it into the category description. I'm not sure how much support those areas have as they are created with the WooCommerce plugin in conjunction with the limitations of taxonomies through wordpress so you may need to keep things on the more simple side.

Hi O5,

To keep the "parent" link active you would need to add something like this to your custom.css.

.current-page-ancestor, .current-menu-ancestor, .current-menu-parent,
.current-page-parent, .current_page_parent, .current_page_ancestor {
border-bottom:2px solid #000000; color:#cc3300;
}

To add a custom link to the logo, you would need to open framework/php/function-set-avia-frontend-functions.php and edit this line:

$logo = "<h1 class='logo'><a href='".home_url('/')."'>".$logo."</a></h1>";

Hi Mya

Tkanks a LOT, you are great :-) That worked like a charme for me with the adding to the Costum.css. Now with a 12px I think it looks better

But I dont see how I should be able to use the WUSIWYG editor here, as the text is added in Categories / Description.. If you can tell me how to edit the text in a WYSIWYG edditor, I can actely make those areas look a little better, eg by different Style and by adding a picture..

So my question, Is it possible to edit directly with a WYSIWYG or do you mean that I can copy the HTML from another Editor to format this text?

/Jesper

Hi Jesper,

If you want to change just that line alone then you can use the WYSIWYG editor to change the style from paragraph to a heading. If you want to change the text size for all paragraphs you would add this to your custom.css.

.title_container p {
    font-size: 11px !important;
}

To remove the sorting box, add this:

#top .woocommerce_ordering {
    display:none;
}

Regards,
Mya

Hi,

The underline and background colors for the active and inactive state of the menu can be set in the custom.css or Quick CSS. You would something like this:

.main_menu ul li a {
background-color: #000000;
}

.main_menu ul:first-child > li.current-menu-item > a,
.main_menu ul:first-child > li.current_page_item > a {
background-color: #000000;
border-bottom: 0 !important;
}

#top .main_menu .menu li a:hover {
background-color: #000000;
}

Regards,

Hi..

1.) Plz. tell me how to change the Text size written as Product Category Description..

I have been looking, and searching high and low for a solution.. Found one post with same question, but poster found the solution himself, and forgot to write the solution in the post...

A example on the text I would like to be bigger is found at: http://shop.jed.dk/index.php/shop/produkt-kategori/3cx-telefonanlaeget/3cx-licenser/

It is the text here: "3CX Licenser til ny installation. Du kan vælge mellem Komplet telefonsystem uden og med CallCenter modul (Læs videre herunder for, hvad I opnår med CallCenter Modulet)

Sådan vælges rette licens:
Klik på 3CX Pro......."

2. I would also like to get rid of the Sort Box, if possible on the same side. Would be perfect to be able to add a Picture or Text box... Not a Showstopper however :-)

Thanks in advance for your help..

/Jesper

Hi Lawrence,

Glad that worked for you! If you have any issues with other dropdowns not working correctly, you might need to limit the avia fake css to only the checkout page with:

#top.woocomerce-checkout .avia_select_fake_val {
display: none;
}

You can just replace the other one with that so that it doesn't accidentally cause issues other places :)

Regards,

Hello Ismael

Yes, that is the one...

It looks much better now, as I can see the selection arrows.. I will have to play a little with the PX, but I think the #top code will work for me..

Thanks a lot for your help :-)

Hello,

Do you mean the dropdown with the gray background? I think you can do this

#top .variations select {
min-width: 150px;
}
