Couldnt reproduce the issue either but I will start working on a breadcrumb plugin for woocommerce that hooks into the existing breadcrumb navigation and edits it accordingly.

Once I have done that the theme will get its update ;)

Hey!

Try following - open up woocommerce\widgets\widget-product_categories.php and replace:

$cat_args['current_category_ancestors']	= $this->cat_ancestors;

with:

$cat_args['current_category_ancestors']	= $this->cat_ancestors;
$cat_args['hide_empty'] = 1;

An altternative (maybe better solution) would be a filter function - you can add it to the bottom of functions.php:

add_filter('woocommerce_product_categories_widget_args', 'inoplugs_widgetcat_exclude_filter');
function inoplugs_widgetcat_exclude_filter( $cat_args ) {
$cat_args['hide_empty'] = 1; return $cat_args;
}

Ismael -

I am using a plugin by 61 Extensions called WooCommerce Pinterest Pin-it Button. It gives a field in the Edit Products Page of each item and you check a box if you want that item to have a Pin It Button. Very easily installed, but then I don't know how to set up the location of the button.

Thanks for the code to align the product title and price. It worked great!

No, the Pin It Button is still an issue (see previous post) I would like the Pin It Button to be next to the large image of each product, either just above or just below the image. Right now it shows up under the row of Related Products. I think if it were closer, I would have a better chance of getting people to use it. Please advise.

Hi,

1.) You can do this to align the price.

#top.single-product .title_container p.price {
top: 10px;
right: -20px;
}

Devin -

Thanks! As usual you guys rock with your support!

Well, it's almost there. If you go to the same link as above http://pizzazzgifts.com/shop/048-jewel-pop-blue-sparkle/ you can see the changes.

1. The only change I need to make now is how do I line up the price of $39 with the name of the item? As you can see it is kind of close and does not line up with the text name of item.

5. The Pinterest Plugin I am using is from WooCommerce and was made to go on the product pages. I really don't want that particular "Pin It" button to line up with other social icons. It is meant to be with the product image so people can click on it and "Pin It" to their Pinterest page to help me with traffic. Any idea on another Pin It button Plugin that will work? I have downloaded and installed several. Some don't show up at all and many of them will add the Pin It button to the image, but it is only visible when you hover over the image. I would like the Pin It button to be very visible at all times to 'suggest' to visitors to Pin It. I used the WooCommerce one to begin with because I thought since it was being used in the commerce section of the website it probably needed to be compatible with WooCommerce. Any thoughts on that issue?

Thanks again for all your help!

Glad that you solved the issue. Unfortunately not all extensions are compatible (out of the box) with our themes because Kriesi removed/changed some default woocommerce hooks. Sometimes you need to remove/reregister existing actions/filters of the extension.
If you can post your solution here it may help other users too.

Hey Dude,

I finally managed to solve this yesterday and unfortunately did not update the thread here.

the thing is that the bundled product plugin extension was (is) incompatible with Abundance and this is really a disadvantage of the theme since I expected that every plugin designed specifically for WooCommerce would not cause a bug with Abundance. And I am not talking about third party plugins but about those who are paid and featured as premium extensions on the Woo site.

thank you for your time on this,

Hi SandyMc,

I'll just go through each and see what can be done to help:

1) Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

#top.single-product .price_container {
    float: right;
    padding-top: 10px;
}
#top.single-product .page-title.cufon_headings {
    float: left;
}
#top.single-product .title_container p {
    top: 0;
}
#top.single-product .title_container {
    height: 20px;
}

2) I'm not sure what you mean. Try filling out all the product information for the items before removing parts just to give yourself a chance to see the full layout (us as well).

3) You can hide them with:

#top.single-product .tagged_as {
display: none;
}

4) You'll need to remove those widgets from Appearance>widgets. They will either be in the Displayed Everywhere widget area or Single Product Pages widget area.

5) I'm not sure how that was added in but it looks like its just getting tacked onto the end of the product page instead of hooking into the proper social icon area. You might have more success with a different plugin.

Regards,

Devin

Please elaborate - I'm not sure how the plugin should work. I checked the page here: http://bill-karkavos.com/test/shop/bundle-product/ and it seems like it combines two products on one page and you have to select a variation of each product before you can add the "bundled" product to the cart. However that's working for me so I'm not sure what's missing right now.

Hi Peter,

I replace the code, but the breadcrumbs for the subcategories are still being stripped...

Hey Peter,

Thanks, for some strange reason, nothing is showing up, not even the default 'Message' label (kitticraft.com/contact)

Yes, open up abundance\framework\php\class-breadcrumb.php and replace following code with the custom php/breadcrumb code:

/* If there's an archive page, add it to the trail. */
if ( !empty( $post_type_object->has_archive ) && function_exists( 'get_post_type_archive_link' ) )

UPDATE:

Just now I had a confirmation from both Woo and the developers of the Plugin (http://www.somewherewarm.net/) that most probably the main incompatibility issue lies with the Abundance theme as when I deactivate Abundance and activate Twenty Eleven the bundle product shows up correctly.

Please advice on this matter.

Best,

Bill
