Please call the first menu (top menu with small font/link size) "First" (without the quotes) and the second menu (big menu items) "Second" (without the quotes). WordPress will automatically use the "First" menu as top menu and the "Second" menu as category menu.

I figured out how to create the dropdown menus, now my only issue is how to create the Primary and Secondary navigation menus.

Devin,

I must have done something else wrong. I was following the documentation to create the Primary and Secondary Menus.

However, when I go to the WordPress Menu Manager, it says that 'Your theme supports 1 menu.'

I went ahead and created two menus, but the theme won't display both, it simply puts the page title in both the primary and secondary menu areas.

Here is a link to the site under development: http://74.220.219.63/~breaktm6/

I also want to create dropdown menus, but don't see how to do that.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Devin,

Thanks for the post reply; I actually was using the secondary newscast.zip file, but I accidentally downloaded the HTML version of newscast, and so THAT is why the installation was unsuccessful ...my fault. I purchased and downloaded the correct WordPress version, and it installed fine.

Hi malottdesign,

The main zip you get from themeforest is *not* the actual theme file. Its a package that has the documentation, psd's, license and version.rtf in it. You need to first unzip that file then inside of it you can upload the newscast.zip file as in your #2 above.

You can additionally unzip that secondary newscast.zip file as it is the actual theme. Then upload that newscast folder to your wp-content>themes folder.

I hope that helps :)

Regards,

Devin

I tried to install both ways.

1) I unzipped the newscast.zip file and uploaded the folder to my wp themes folder. The error message under Available Themes reads:

Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

Name	Description
Template is missing.

2) I used the Install Feature within WordPress and received this message:

The package could not be installed. The style.css stylesheet doesn't contain a valid theme header.

Theme install failed.
