You can use the WP No Category Base plugin to remove category from URL's.

Hey,

This could be caused by a plugin (JS conflict) or by something you have changed.

My advise is to firstly deactivate all plugins to see if this fixes the problem (if it does reactivate them one by one until you find the culprit); failing that I suggest starting with a fresh copy of the theme and redo your modifications one at a time making sure the portfoio categories are still working after each modification.

Hello,

I did a little customization of the portfolio page - mainly just editing the sizes of the images, etc... and now the categories do not work.

You can see what I am working with here:

http://mattluvsalice.com/?page_id=46

When I click on the categories, I'd like the images to sort (like the original template).

Can you help me locate the problem and fix it? Here is a snippet of code that I was messing with:

	echo "
";

 echo $prev_image;
echo "
".get_the_title()."
";
echo "";
the_time('Y m d H i s');

 echo "";

 the_excerpt();

 echo "".__('Read more','cleancut')."";

Please keep in mind I'm kinda noob.

Thank you!

Hello,

I am looking to have the blog comments expanded by default instead of collapsed when the page is loaded.

You can see an example of this here:

http://mattluvsalice.com/?page_id=165

I'd like the comments to be expanded like this instead:

http://mattluvsalice.com/?p=256#comments

Please remember I'm a noob and need a little hand holding here.

Thank you!

Hey,
the problem is that your images are too small. I.e. this image: http://mattluvsalice.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Lili_YangKrop.jpg is only 315px x 209px but the portfolio thumbnails are 610px x 260px - so the browser stretches it. You can upload bigger images - they'll be resized automatically to 610px x 260px (like the demo images).

Hey,
please use a contact form plugin like Contact Form 7 http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/ or CformsII - they give you much more possibilities and options.

I'm having issues with my portfolio featured images distorting and cropping incorrectly. I did a little customization of the portfolio page and basically made 2 columns. When I insert images into the featured images, they become really distorted and are cropped incorrectly, as you can see here:

http://mattluvsalice.com/?page_id=46

Is there a way to control featured images by downloading a plug-in? What size do I need to crop these images to?

Please help!

First of all - thanks so much for the great easy-to-use theme. I'm trying to do a little customization to the contact form and running into some issues. I'm kinda a noob so I may need a little more hand-holding than usual (a copy paste reply would be awesome).

Basically I am trying to end the "website" form field to be a radio button for "attending" yes or no. I'd like to have this sent via email once the form is submitted and am having issues with this as well.

I'd also like to have an additional form field that will allow users to select from a drop down menu of 1 - 2 adults and another drop down within the same line with a menu of 1-2 children.

Here is what I have so far:

http://mattluvsalice.com/?page_id=44

I've been editing the Contact Form page template - the code I have so far is:

(`
<input name="Attending" id="website" size="20" value="<?php if (isset($the_website)) echo $the_website?>"/> Attending
Not Attending
<?php _e('','cleancut'); ?>
)

Any help is much appreciated!
