You could just leave the rollover effect active in the parent main menu item whilst the user is mousing the cursor over the mega menu. That way you can still see (just) which parent main menu the mega menu came from. No idea how you do that though :O)

Ok! I´ll have to wait for an update then.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by fade in /fade out effects.
And I agree that the border is fine, it highlights the Menu content area. But it still does not connect the Content Area with i´ts heading "title" /"button" in the menu bar. Do you understand what I mean?

Normally web-users are accustomed to menu drop-down-curtains being aligned to the left corner of the menu-button. But the Mega menu does not follow the Button in the menu-bar. It expands over the whole page. Therfore it would help with something that "highlights" the active menu-button.

Thank you for your support.

Hey,
this would require some mega menu code modifications (js/jquery). I'll suggest it to Kriesi as feature request. Personally I feel it's not necessary because the grey border + fade in/fade out effect highlights the dropdown/mega menu anyway.

Hi!

I like the Mega Menu function very much. But I have discovered a weakness.
Ordinary menus are not that wide. Therefore it is easy for the user to follow which heading the menu content belongs to.

The Mega menus are different. Since they are so wide the connection between heading and content isn't that obvious.

Solution ---
I would like to make the active heading square background change color when the menu is opened.
Is that possible to do?

Thank you

Niclas
