Hey! Can you post a link to a product that has a description so I can take a look at it?
Since this was fixed 5 months ago for the other themes I can not remember what exactly was the problem, and even then it might be a different problem now :)

Cheers!

Afaik Flagship does not support WooCommerce out of the box but I'll mark this thread for Kriesi. He already fixed this issue for Abundance and hopefully he can tell us how to apply this fix to Flagship.

I am using the latest versions of both the Flagship theme AND WooCommerce so I am not sure what the problem could be. This is a very annoying problem. Please help, thanks!

Hey! Are you using the latest theme and woocommerce version? I can remember fixing a very similar bug some time ago which only happenend with outdated versions of the theme and woocommerce...

You might want to try to update both, the theme as well as woocommerce and see if the problem persists...

When I go to a single product page, it's automatically jumping to the product description and redirects the page url to #tab attributes. It skips the short description at the top of the page. I saw someone else had this problem and tried the quick CSS code given but it didn't work.

.dual-sidebar .related.products .content {

Hi, I really need a different custom menu for my sidebar navigation, instead of the default one from abundance that lists every page and child page. I need an accordian menu or some sort of drop down menu that hides the child pages until you click on the parent. Every single plugin I've tried doesn't work with this theme. I'm sure the jquery must be conflicting with something in your theme but have no idea how I'd fix it. I tried reading about jquery no conflict but don't understand it. Do you know of any plugins that would work to accomplish what i need.

I don't know if you take on projects, but if I paid you would you be able to fix this so I can use an accordian menu with the custom menu? This is the only issue standing in my way of finishing a website with a client.

Thanks so much.

Hey!

Not the theme but WooCommerce strips all html tags from the product description. You can try to use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/woocommerce-custom-product-tabs-lite/ which adds html support to the product tab.

Hi,

In my product descriptions, I cannot format text. It seems to be overriding any formatting I put in. Example: headings aren't blue and bullet lists don't appear. Is there an update I'm not aware of that fixes this? If not, what code do I need to put in and where, to fix these.

I just added the CSS styling into the theme's custom.css file and it works fine. However, since I'm using a child theme, I would have expected the child theme's styles.css to be the one drive the styling?

little correction:
of course we have to specify which lists we want to style...

With the code provided above all kinds of "ul" are changed all over the place, screwing up widgets, menus and whatnot... :)

Rather something like this, so other elements styled with ul are not affected:

.woocommerce_tabs ul{
list-style-type: square;
list-style-position: outside;
}

That should affect only the lists inside the product tabs.

Exactly my point, Devin - you can create them, they look right in the post editor, but in the product page they were displayed as ordinary text.
With the CSS fix they look right now.

HA, so easy ;-) - I had a similar problem with a different theme before, there we needed weird filter overrides in functions.php to make lists work inside tabs ...

thanks!
Martin

P.S.: for those who prefer indented lists, use "outside" for list-style-position

Hi Elfenwald,

I didn't have any problem creating lists inside descriptions when I tested it just now. They don't have the bulleted style to them however so if that is the problem add the following to your Quick CSS.

ul{
list-style-type: disc;
list-style-position: inside;
}

Can't be that complicated to get 'dem lists to work, eh? ;-)
Friendly *bump* after 3 days.
Any help and working fixes appreciated.

Looks like some formatting is filtered out in the products description.

While most shortcuts (even stuff like pullquotes and toggles) works fine inside the description tab, lists do not. Bummer.
What is a product description without lots of bullets... ;-)

Neither ordered nor unordered lists works, they are just displayed as normal text.
Missing CSS classes or some filter overrides needed?

thanks
Martin
