Hi Peter,

It'll take a good bit of re-working from the looks of it but it is doable. Make sure to save your changes and a backup of the original into a separate area for when updates to the theme become available.

You can edit the layout in includes>loop-index.php and then modify the css to manipulate the new layout.

Regards,

Hello,

I love the theme, but I'd like to make some small modifications to the blog layout. Instead of the column with the date, I'd like to have the blog use the full 2/3 column on the page (instead of the 2/3 column being divided again). I'd like it to be just as wide as the featured image above. For me, it improves readability. Not sure how to make any modifications like this with the framework. Can you provide some insight about how I might go about accomplishing this?

Thanks - Peter

Very weird. Just go ahead and make a new thread with the issue when you have the site up again :)

I'm going to lock this thread to all except admins and the original poster so it doesn't get too confusing for others and any longer. So anyone else as with the same issue(s), please make a new thread and if possible include a link to the site so we can take a look at the issue live.

Regards,

??!! Not currently...
It gets weirder and weirder ! I can access the site fine with firefox but not with any other browser...

Deleting the htaccess doesn't work, rewriting the permalinks neither, redefining the Base directory, deactivate any SEO plugin nothing solves the problem. I don't know what the heck is happening here but it's starting to drive me batshit crazy.

I'll contact my hosting service, their server must not read my htaccess at all don't see any other explanation.

Be back when (and if) it works. Thx anyway

Hi Johann,

I'm getting a 404 error on all of the pages. Are you currently doing some maintenance/re-doing things?

It's under control for the thumbnails, but when we click on one to its dedicated page I would very much like to reduce the image since it's way too big.
Tried to modify the functions.php but it didn't work, only the thumbnails were affected. Weird. And also there's some hit and miss with the theme options : if I check the two boxes for moderation of comments, it stills post them without moderation, when I configure the portoflio to open on the same page it doesn't work anymore since I configured it to open in a new page...
There may be other control issues, I wonder if I didn't do something wrong in the installation.

Here it is if you want to look at it : http://bit.ly/GGshQh

Thanks for your help.
Johann.

Hi !

I have the same problem...
Thumbnails work fine for images of 930x620px and above, but not smaller ones.

Also, is there a way to control the size of the image once we get to the portfolio entry ? Because the width selected along with its title, alt, description, etc (choice is small/medium/large/original) isn't applied... how come ?

Thanks

Hi Jessipoo,

Let us know if keeping the images above 465x346 help the issue for you. Always nice for others to see a resolution when searching for an issue they may have as well :)

Thanks!

Hey! The problem with different sized greyscale images have been reported a few times now, we will look nto the issue and try to fix that problem with an update.

Please also try to upload images of at least 465 x 346 size, that fixed the error for some of the users

Thanks for your patience!

So some of my portfolio thumbnail entries aren't automatically resizing properly.

The hover (color) and non hover (grayscale) are different sizes, the grayscale version seems more squished and when I hover it changes format and goes into color.

My other entries are okay, I didn't do any code to change things, the original size of the photo I uploaded is 500x313 pixels. I didn't touch any of the default settings when I added it in the portfolio item post.

What is going on?
