Hi,

The only solution I can think of is to remove the close button then expand the text container. You can add this code on your custom.css

@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
     .infotext {
     padding: 10px 10px 10px 0;
     }

     #top .close_info_text {
     display: none;
     }
}

Regards,

Hi steve4640,

As far as I know the theme doesn't strip anything from text widgets so any html used should be fine. I always recommend using the text widgets to add in your own custom html so it shouldn't have that effect unless there is another plugin or something like that effecting the widget.

Regards,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Google Custom Search plugin for Propulsion? We are looking for one that might also have an option to replace the default WordPress search feature. -Thanks!

Like Propulsion a lot, but it seems that the Widgets strip out HTML used for format text in free text boxes. Is there any way to get the text widgets to recognize html formatting? Specifically, we need to bold some text and create separate paragraphs. Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me! Our client really needs this to show in mobile view as it contains their brand name. Is there no other way to do so? I was thinking there might be a way to increase the spacing when shown on the mobile device, but I couldn't figure out how to do that.-Steve

It doesn't look jumbled but it looks off though. Would you like to disable it when viewed on mobile devices?

You can add this on your custom.css to remove it on mobile view

Hi:

We got Propulsion up and running on a mobile device and it's looking great! However, the callout text at the top of the Home Page appears jumbled when viewed on an iPhone or mobile device, or when the browser width is decrease. Please see the following url and reduce the width of the browser to see what we mean. Any ideas on how we can fix this issue?

Hi steve4640,

Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

#top .callout p {
font-size: 26px;
}

That will bring it back to what it was before (by default).

steve4640,

To change the "hero-text" font size globally on your website, add the following under 'Theme Options ->Styling -> Quick CSS'

.hero-text {
font-size:13pt;
}

Change the '13' in the above code to whatever numerical value you want for the font size.

Hope this helps.

That sounds like a good idea, Devin. If I use the column layout (e.g., 25%–75%), is it possible to have, say, the left 25% column contain the widget, and the right 75% column contain content of the newly created current post? I took a quick look at it, but it seems like you have to select from a pre-existing page or post to populate the right column.

Thanks!

Hi steve4640,

The custom sidebar for categories doesn't go down to the single post. Its only for that single category display.

The theme doesn't offer individual post control for widget areas so you would need to look into a plugin for that kind of functionality.

Something like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic-visual/ and then add your widget to display on all posts but then use that plugin to add a 'only on X category' control or just a specific post.

Regards,

Hi,

I have a dynamic template with a left sidebar and would like to know if it is possible to have a text widget show up in that sidebar area instead of the default sidebar.

Thanks!

Hi Ismael, I tried the instructions above, and I think I must be missing a step or something. As you can see in the link, I successfully created the Category-specific widget of a Calendar at the top right of the Uncategorized category:

http://bit.ly/Vhbf4t

But when you click on the Test Post, the Calendar does not show up at the top of the sidebar as expected:

http://bit.ly/Vhbuwc

Perhaps I am missing a step?

Thanks!

Thanks so much, Ismael! I really appreciate you looking at my question. I'll be sure to set this in my theme first thing when I get to work tomorrow and report my result.
