Hi!

You can try to use a "raw html" plugin like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/raw-html/ which allows you to deactivate the wordpress wp_autop function for certain text/html parts.

Regards,

Hi

I am trying to create a link using the content slider titles, adding a href around the title tag is the only way I have managed this but it is adding <p> tags etc to the title and forcing it to move down the page. Is there a way to achieve this correctly?

Thanks

Strange, I've never heard of that happening. You can try re-installing the theme overtop of itself in case a file has been corrupted. It may be as simple as that but if it isn't causing any major issues with functionality and there are no other symptoms of a problem it will be a bit hard to track down exactly whats going on.

Hi underclass,

What exactly is the additional shortcode text that is getting popped out?

I don't think there is any way for a mistake like that to really modify/break the shortcode window but you can always try re-installing the theme overtop of itself. Make sure to download the most recent version available from your downloads on Themeforest so that you install the most recent update/version as well.

Hello

When I use the column layout shortcode, it is adding undefined columns in addition to the specified number of columns required. This has only recently started happening after I accidentally typed text into the input box in the popup modal window. Since deleting the text, the extra undefined column is added each time the shortcode is used.

Thanks

Hi Nathaniel,

Sorry for the delay in responding. After some playing around, I came up with this solution. If you add the columns using the Template Builder then there's automatic class name added to each column called flex_column_#. The # of course is replaced with 1, 2, and 3 accordingly.

In case you haven't used the Template Builder yet, here's the instructions:

1) Go to Choices > Template Builder
2) Select the "Frontpage" template
3) Under "Add Elements" select Columns then click the down arrow on the grey tab
4) Set your options accordingly (in your case I would use Direct Text input then enter your shortcode info)
5) Click Save All Changes

Let me know if this doesn't work or you need help. I'm going to tag myself to this thread so I don't lose it again.

Regards,

Nathaniel, great-looking design! :-)

I'm a new user of the Choices theme and just wanted to ask you about two things...
- What's the width of your landing page image? Did you upload it to the Slider section even though you are just using one image or did you upload it to a Page Content section?
- How did you add the 'Chartered accountants with an all round view' incl the Find out More button? I see that element in the demo but haven't been able to identify where it's placed.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
M.

Hello Mya

That would be fine, I was trying to find individual classes or id's for the columns but could only see that the first column was different and following columns had the same class.

http://bit.ly/RgkXUt

I am trying to style the bottom three columns.

With thanks

Hi Nathaniel,

It is possible. You would need to edit the template files directly along with add the CSS to your custom.css. However, editing that many templates might lead to headaches updating the theme in the future. What I would suggest is using a combination of the existing body, div and column ID/class names if at all possible

If you could give us an example page we could provide specific code.

Regards,

Hello

I would like to create a custom column class/id that allows me to individually style a column layout. I would like to have a standard column class/id and then have the custom class to allow no padding/margins alternative background colours etc. Is this possible?

Thanks
