Nick. That seems to have done the trick for the analytics code.
Its strange, but not only did it work but it now seems that the webpage is running much faster and smoother. Is that even possible? I was about to post another topic asking about this exactly and now it seems its not necessary.

Also, why would my particular case have this problem and not others? Doesn't it seem strange to you? I haven't edited nor tweeked anything from the original theme. At least I don't think so.

Mya, thanks for the instructions on changing to webfonts, but will I have to re-do this every time ou guys update the theme (I don't know how often that is though).

Hi Laville,

I looked at your website:

Your Google Analytics account number is in the html code alright. The problem is the analytics code itself is missing, and by that I mean that javascript code. Please try inserting the entire block below in the box where you previously inserted the account-number:

<script>
	var _gaq=[['_setAccount','UA-XXXXX-X'],['_trackPageview']];
	(function(d,t){var g=d.createElement(t),s=d.getElementsByTagName(t)[0];
	g.src=('https:'==location.protocol?'//ssl':'//www')+'.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
	s.parentNode.insertBefore(g,s)}(document,'script'));
</script>

Just please replace the UA-XXXXX-X with your account.

Thanks,

Nick

Hi lavilllenue,

Okay, I understand now. The font is being displayed using cufon. In order to replace with Google web fonts you would need go to your Theme Options and select No Custom Font then edit the header.php file as well as supply the appropriate code in your custom.css or Quick CSS.

As far as the Google Analytics, you're pasting the entire tracking code not just the UA-########-# correct? Just wanted to be sure. To my knowledge no other user has experienced the same problem. I'll tag the rest of the support team to see what they say.

Regards,

Hello Mya, thanks for the response.

1. I guess I'm not explaining myself very well. I want my website to load webfonts and display them as such. For the moment, it is displaying images of the words with those fonts. ie. I cannot select text (in headings) with the cursor or copy pasting.

Is this possible? I have done this on other websites, by using css import and html link references:

<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Josefin+Sans' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
@import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Josefin+Sans);

2. My analytics code is written correctly, as far as I can tell. This is the format; UA-########-#
That is all I have written in the box. I deleted it and re wrote it just in case and the problem persits> https://dl.dropbox.com/u/33526284/Capture%20d%E2%80%99%C3%A9cran%202012-09-13%20%C3%A0%2012.52.36.png

I have the google analytics plugin by Kevin Sylvestre also installed and activated on my site, but I deactivated it and regenerated the webpage and its still there. As a matter of fact, I remember having this problem *before* installing that plugin. So come to think of it, it can't possibly be that.

It s very strange, I wonder if other flashlight themes online have the same problem.

Thank you again

Hi lavillenue,

On #1, I'm not sure I follow the problem. What is wrong with yours? Do you want to use the same font? If so, I believe default for the theme is "No custom font".

On #2, check to see if your analytics code is the correct box Flashlight > Theme Options. I assume you're using Google Analytics. If so, compare the code on the website to what Google Analytics gives you to make sure they are no extra HTML tags.

Regards,
Mya

Hello kriesi designers and developers.
First of all, thanks a lot for your themes. I've only purchased one, but its very high quality and professional. Having said that, I do have 2 problems with my Flashlight theme:
(I have tried searching for these problems but couldn't find anything)

1. My heading fonts aren't displaying as the demo version. They aren't webfonts, instead they're images. I checked and I'm using the latest version of the theme (1.7), so this shouldn't be the issue.

2. My analytics tracking code is appearing on my background before my images load. I am not sure if this is a security issue (I don't know if this number should be kept secret or not), but even if it isn't- aesthetically, it isn't something that should be there.

Thanks again,
