Hi!

I can reproduce the bug and I'll submit a patch soon. Should be included in the next update. For now use another blog layout - the error only occurs with the "Grid Layout".

Best regards,

Hi Topher,

Try updating the theme files to the most recent version available from your downloads on Themeforest. Kriesi has been releasing bug fixes pretty rapidly and I want to make sure this isn't something that was already fixed in 1.3 (you are currently on 1.2).

Hi there,

So I'm not sure what's going on here but I added a categories widget to the sidebar on the blog and for some reason they don't work.

If you click on Wedddings for example, it reloads the page, but will all blog entries, not just the weddings. Also the header changes correctly to: Archive for category: Weddings

but, strangely enough when you click on that header, it randomly links to one of the blog posts. In this example:

Archive for category: Weddings header links to: http://www.tophersimon.com/2012/06/12/san-jose-wedding-photography-ronnie-and-daryl-queen-of-apostles-catholic-church-freedom-hall-and-garden/

Any ideas what's going on and a fix?

Thanks!

Hi all,
On the blog page on this site: http://www.photographybykrishanthi.co.uk/blog/
When you click on the archives in the right sidebar, which were added using the widget, no archive file link takes you to the actual archive and they default to the home page. It does the same whether the widet is set to dropdown or post counts.
Why is this and how can I fix it?
Thanks,

Hey Stephen,

I'm not quite sure what the question is. For the pages you want to modify, can you link to them an point out which padding you want changed?

Just from my other css change, you may be able to do something like:

#top.archive #main .container {
padding-top: 30px;
}

Since the class "archive" gets applied to archive pages. If however its only for certain types of archives, you may want to add that type or archive as a second class to the css. So, for the category archive you would use:

#top.archive.category #main .container {
padding-top: 30px;
}

If this doesn't work for what you are looking for, just provide the specifics and we'll see what we can do :)

Regards,

Hello,

I recently removed padding from my site to correct an issue (as seen in http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/removing-the-white-bar-below-homepage-slider ). Because I've used Custom Layouts from the Template Builder, spacing above other page titles weren't affected. When I click on the "Month", "Categories" and "Tags" archives in the sidebar of my blog page, there is no padding.

We successfully corrected this issue with this post ( http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/increasing-the-padding-on-an-individual-pageelement ). However, I'm not comfortable enough with code to know what to adjustment to make to that code to place into the Quick CSS folder.

How could I do this?
Thanks,

Hi rita01,

This wouldn't work with any other image size but since you are using the small icon size we can manually set the image container and then position it a bit. I'm not sure if this is what you were going for but Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

#top.archive .slideshow.fade_slider {
width: 36px !important;
height: 36px !important;
position: absolute;
top: -36px;
}

I have tried your tip but it doesn't work for me. The format changes but the image keep filling all the container in spite of its low resolution (I have used "widget" size), look at here :

Hi,

You can try this. Seems to remove the sidebars, but only 1 column of categories remains.You can have a grid by using Views & Types plugins, should be fairly easy. Otherwise its a fairly involved project.

#top.category .sidebar {
display: none;
}

#top.category #content {
width: 780px;
/* modify this number to make things fit better it was 580px originally */
}

Hi,

I'd rather not show the username after "Author Archive for:", but instead, would like to display the author's name as it is "publicly displayed". What file do I edit to change this. I thought maybe archive.php but no dice. Thanks!

Hi colorit2,

Try changing the h1 class to use double quotes instead.

Other than this though, I think you may need to look into a hiring a web developer as this is a bit beyond what we should typically handle via support.

Bug fixing custom changes is a bit to particular and if others try following the same threads it can cause issues where the code isn't fully explained or fleshed out.

Regards,

thanks, Mya, but unfortunately, this has no effect.
I have now this code in the loop-index.php: http://pastie.org/5097716

and it still looks like this:

and in Firebug (site still offline):

Any idea what I can do?

Thanks.

Hi,

In the code shown on pastie.org, you're missing a semi-colon after the get_permalink.

You have this:

<?php echo get_permalink() ?>

And it should be this:

<?php echo get_permalink(); ?>

Try that and see if it corrects the issue.

Regards,
Mya

Thanks, Peter.

But the problems remains the same; I'm not really sure, if I have changed the code right, because my PHP is still a "try&error" play ;-)

It looks like the first screenshot above.

Here a Screenshot with Firebug (my site is still offline):

1. there is a strange code part after the alt tag:
'=""

2. the img src tag is not closed and conflicts in some way with the Permanent Link thing ...

The code within my loop-index.php is now this, perhaps I have made some mistakes with these changes?

http://pastie.org/5088934

Thanks!

Hi!

You can use following code:

title="<?php printf( esc_attr__( 'Permalink to %s', 'avia_framework'), the_title_attribute( 'echo=0' ) ); ?>"

Best regards,

Hi,

the author lets me know, that this is the reason, because »the <?php the_title(); ?> is used in the "title" attribute and 'cause the "title" attribute have HTML tag inside it.«

The part of CORONA's loop-index.php

<h1 class='post-title'>
" rel="bookmark" title="<?php _e('Permanent Link:','avia_framework')?>
<?php the_title(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?>
</h1>

should be like this:

title="<?php printf( esc_attr__( 'Permalink to %s', 'your-text-domain'
), the_title_attribute( 'echo=0' ) ); ?>"

But within this I haven't the part for the "avia_framework functionality".

Could you please let me know, how to write this part of code for the loop-index.php in this case?

Thanks a lot, appreciate!

Ah I got it :-/

I've disabled all my plugins and then re-activated one by another and ... tatataa ... it's actually caused by a paid plugin "Content Reloaded" from Codecanyon.

:-( Will contact the author of it.
