I did a search on the wordpress plugins section and found the Post Teaser plugin. Now I have a read more link that works fine but when you click on a post to see the full post there is no link to go back. So, to go to the blog post overview you have to navigate back through the browser. Is there a solution to add a back link or something like that?

Hello all,

After trying different things I still got the same problem. I have a page where the blog is showing. From every blog item there is some intro text ended up with the [...]

But I can´t get the Read more text. The insert more tag doesn´t work. The only way to go to the full post is clicking on the title. After that there is another problem. There is nog link to go back the overview of the post. The only way to go back is through the back arrow of the browser.

Who can help me out!

Thanks a lot!!!

thanks! That's completely new for me ... never used such a kind of menu + widget and haven't found anything about it in the theme's docu.

But I gave it a try and it seems to work in this way, not with standard WP page widgets or pages plugins.

Hi colorit2,

I believe you are just using the incorrect widget for that styling. Try making a menu with the Menus manager (under Appearances) then using the Custom Menu widget. Once you choose a menu to display, it will give you the look thats shown there.

The strange thing is, I've created a complete fresh, new blog, activated CORONA, no plugins, imported the dummy data and take a look here:
http://tinyurl.com/7vwwjhx

The first item with the list of pages appears because I have activated in the theme's settings -> Layout & Settings -> Page Sidebar navigation the option "display sidebar navigation".

Then look at the item below, where I added the standard pages widget: no list, no arrows are shown.

I don't want to use this theme settings activated, because I want to create my own sidebars with sometimes sidebar shown, and sometimes at special pages not.

So where can I set my CORONA displaying the pages listed in the sidebar like this:
http://i40.tinypic.com/2z6efti.jpg?

Hi,

I wonder why my standard pages widget in the blog's sidebar doesn't look like the demo theme.

Demo theme:
Here at the top of the sidebar are pages listed with arrow and grey hover effect:
http://www.kriesi.at/themes/corona/blog/

Screenshot:
http://i40.tinypic.com/2z6efti.jpg

My theme:
Here in the blog, using the standard pages widget, the pages are listed as simple text and not with these arrows and hover effect like the demo theme as mentioned above:
http://i40.tinypic.com/2z6efti.jpg

Screenshot:
http://i40.tinypic.com/2z6efti.jpg

I have just added the standard pages widget to the sidebar:
http://i43.tinypic.com/2l9jj2x.jpg

I'm not so familiar with PHP and CSS, so where have I to change what kind of code to get the same effect as in the demo theme?
Thanks!

hey! not sure if I will add this feature, i have added it to the todo list for now but cant promise that it will get added in the near future. pretty much depends on the demand, and if other users want this as well.

as chris already pointed out Its quite hard for me to keep adding new features to my themes since there are so many ideas from customers (which is great ;) ) but it also means that I have to carefully choose what to implement.

long story short: not sure if i will be able to add this in time, but its definitely possible and a experienced JS developer should also be able to extend the slider if you really need the feature fast.

Hey,
to be honest I don't have enough insight to decide if it's easy to implement a keybord nav or not. I asked Kriesi to comment on this topic. Maybe there're scripts which allow you to simulate trigger events based on key codes.

Hi,

I would like to know how to enable keyboard navigation for the full screen slider. My goal is to to be able to press the left and right arrow keys to move the slideshow to the previous or next image. I image I'll need to add some js to one of the avia files, but I'm not sure what or where.

Thanks for any guidance,

Ryan

Hey,
did you try to adjust the margin in style.css. I.e. change:

#top .nav li.back .left {
height: 50px;
margin: 0 auto;
}

to:

#top .nav li.back .left {
height: 50px;
margin: 0 0 0 20px;
}

Hi team Kriesi,

I need your help adjusting the floater that hovers over the Nav. I've changed the theme quite a bit and instead of an arrow under the Nav item, I have replaced it with a crown. The only problem is the positioning is off-centered once I visit a page (e.g. visit the contact page). Is there a way to keep the crown centered after a user clicks into a page.

Please visit http://missasianamerica.com/

Hey,
in style2/3/4.css replace:

#top #nav li.back {
/* background: transparent url('../images/skin2/arrow_menu.png') no-repeat bottom center; */
}

with:

#top #nav li.back {
background: transparent url('../images/skin2/arrow_menu.png') no-repeat bottom center;
}

Maybe you need to adjust the image/arrow graphic.
