I searched the web for a "draft notifier" plugins but most of them are outdated or not very flexible (i.e. limited to certain user roles, etc.). I found <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/edit-flow/" rel="nofollow">http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/edit-flow/</a> which may work but I haven't tested it. Basically it seems like this feature requires some work and custom code. I'd use a ftp software like filezilla to upload the uncompressed plugin files in the wp-content/plugin folder. By going this way you can be sure that everything is uploaded/installed correctly.
