Hi hipisland,

When you view the demo, are you getting the same issue? A couple things you can try: disable all active plugins besides WooCommerce, make sure you are using the most recent version of the theme available on Themeforest (I believe its 2.3 right now).

Regards,

Hi,

Yep, create a blank page. Then add this on your custom.css. Inspect page using Chrome or Firebug for FF, look for the unique body class.

#top.avia-blank.page-id-1236 #wrap_all {
background: red url(../images/background-images/Abducted.jpg) !important;
}

Mine is .page-id-1236. You might need a fairly large image for this to cope up to the theme's responsiveness or use a pattern.

Regards,

Hi there,

Here's a link to the image effect im trying to reproduce. The large oranges at the top would be within the transparent slider. Possible????

Hi there,

Slightly unusual this but is it possible to somehow use one big image to cover everything from the nav, header,slider (with a transparent background) and main body. I dont want to segment the sections but instead create one seamless image with minimal interaction on the top. Im guessing something has to be made tranparent or invisible. In which case I would need to switch off the ruled lines between Header & Main and quite poss the alternative background too.

How do I do this... CSS?

Cheers

Hi,

The issue with the haeder background is still not resolved.
After upgrading to 1.4, I included the css fix but a lot of the background images do not work in the frontend.
This does not happen with the footer background.

Hi,

Nick's solution does work. Select a background image on the Theme Options > Styling > Header tab then add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS.

.header_color .header_bg {
	background-color:initial;
}

Hi,

We will need to see the URL where the theme is to do a trace on the javascript and see whats going on there. You can cloak you url with http://www.goo.gl if you like. Also please check the version of Flashlight you are using, (inside top of styles.css file) Flashlight v2.3 is the latest version. If you dont have it , please update on themeforest.net

Thanks,

Hi, Im working on your theme for a website of my client, i'm having issues with the sidebar and the background. When scrolling on safari the sidebar scrolls up with the rest of the page, and the css property {position:fixed !important;top:0;left:0;} doesnt work on safari either.

After tryal and error i found out that on the structure of the sidebar the div "inner_sidebar" works with the javascript that set the slider "avia_fullscreen_slider.js". after errasing the div, the sidebar works perfect with no scolling. but the Background disappears.

it has something to do with:

"sidebars.each(function()
{
var current = $(this),
sidebar_inner = $('.inner_sidebar', this),
sb_offset = sidebar_inner.offset(),
sb_check_val = sidebar_inner.height() + sb_offset.top + 66;

 if(!current.is('.sidebar_absolute')) sb_check_val = sb_check_val - win.scrollTop();

Could you help me .

Hi Nick,

Thanks very much for the reply... I'll give you the shortened URL. http://goo.gl/ySeSw The page is just a quick test on which I was trialling various image sizes. As you can see the background is white which makes the small frame around the square thumbnails impossible to see - it goes from semi-transparent to white on mouseover/clicking - but the white background makes this impossible to see - that's why I was requesting a colour change to another colour, if possible.

Regards,

Michael

Hi,

Please provide a URL because otherwise I will have to recreate the whole site and hope I make it exactly the same way you have to even attempt to solve this. If you would like, you can use http://www.goo.gl to mask the url. Without looking at the code, I can just guess .

Thanks,

Nick

Hi!

That's not possible. BBpress uses a stylesheet to style the forum and Kriesi uses wp-content\themes\propulsion\config-bbpress\bbpress-mod-21.css (or wp-content\themes\propulsion\config-bbpress\bbpress-mod.css) to overwrite some styles.

Regards,
Peter

Do you know how I can get bbpress to inherit all propulsion css? It looks like it is using it's own css?

I was adding it to quick CSS under propulsion theme options. Just tried to do it through cpanel file manager for custom.css and I think it worked! thx.

Actually they are transparent and become white on mouseover - would be better if they were say, grey, and became black on mouseover...

Thanks in advance,
