Hi,

First update to Corona v1.5 that I am using while you have v1.3 . You can do this in themeforest.net , login using account you purchased the theme and using FTP install it. Please be aware that the update will overwrite all the theme files so make a backup if you edited any.

I just looked into this briefly, that same line is there on the other pages just not where you would expect it ( http://www.clipular.com/c?4292034=OJJAKFaivN6WRYshwD6B-sYuJ58&f=.png ..big green line is where its at) and the best thing you can do is open up header.php in your theme folder and

1. add the code below to line 110

<?php if ($extraClass = "slideshow_big_container") $extraClass = "" ?>

and line 110 (which is empty) should be right *after* line 109 which looks like the code below

<!-- ####### HEAD CONTAINER ####### -->

In the same header.php file, find line 203 and add two forward slashed in front of it so it will look like

//if(!empty($avia_config['slide_output'])) echo "<div class='container slideshow_big'>".$avia_config['slide_output']."</div>";

then you will need to open multiple files and paste the line below into each of the files at the line number indicated

<?php if(!empty($avia_config['slide_output'])) echo "<div class='container slideshow_big'>".$avia_config['slide_output']."</div>";?>

remember to paste the above code on line number indicated below (all 3 of these files are in the main folder of your theme)

page.php --- paste the above code on line 27 ; before line 28 that contains this: <?php
single.php --- paste the above code on line 19 ; before line 20 that contains this: <?php
template-dynamic.php --- paste the above code on line 37 ; before line 38 that contains this: <?php

If you follow these instructions (which are ok, if you focus on my instructions and line numbers, since i tested it)

Thanks.

-----OFF TOPIC----------

Please do not save photographs in PNG format as you are doing in your slider ( http://etool.net.au/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Building-or-Renovating-930x370.png ). You are getting 700k PNG when you can have an 80k JPG.

Please use free online image optimizer to further compress your images in both formats:

For PNG : http://www.pngoptimizer.com/

For JPG : http://jpeg-optimizer.com/ (uncheck resize photo, and leave optimization at 60)

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Devin,

Thanks I thought that might be the case.

Can you advise what code I should use to customise this please?

I've had a look in the page.php and it isn't clear to me what I should add/edit.

Many thanks,

It will only show that container if the image/slideshow container is present it looks like. Otherwise it has the top container with the page name.

So you would need to customize the page.php file in the theme files if you wanted to change the layout.

Hi Devan,

The majority of my pages are dynamic templates - I've checked for the following in the Template Builder and they are all Fullsize, No Sidebar.
http://etool.net.au/
http://etool.net.au/why-life-cycle-assessment/
http://etool.net.au/contact/

One of my newer pages which isn't a dynamic template has the layout - Fullsize preview image, no sidebar (as in your suggestion) but the background colour slice is not showing on this page - http://etool.net.au/about/affiliates/

Any ideas?

Thanks, Siobhan

Hi,

The horizontal fading line is missing on my homepage and a newer few pages as I add them to my website.

It is showing up here (examples):
http://etool.net.au/residential/
http://etool.net.au/property-development/developers/

It isn't showing up here (examples):
http://etool.net.au/
http://etool.net.au/why-life-cycle-assessment/

Is it connected to where the slider is being used? I would like it on all of the pages in the default light grey as it suits my theme fine.

Please can you advise any changes I need to make to get this working on all pages.

Also is it possible to change this to an image as on the Kriesi website - just for future reference.

Many thanks, Siobhan

Hey

The various color settings effect many elements throughout the theme so that things stay consistent without the need to customize every single element. The button hover shares the same color as dropcapts, content slider controls and some other things but you can customize the big button hover specifically with:

#top .big_button.avia-button.button:hover {
color: white;
}

Hi guys,

I have altered my background colour in theme settings and it is affecting the text colour on my call out buttons. I want my call out text to be bold white for both standard and rollover and my background colour to be a fairly dark grey.

Am I missing something here?

Re. the background colour: if you just specify background colour under Flashlight general settings but no background image or background slideshow, wouldn't that give you the effect you want? If there's an image in there you can go to 'upload', find the image and delete it. Save all changes on that screen and close it and save all changes. I think that should work?

Hi ! I try to setup a Flashlight site and I wonder if is it possible to use only a color instead of setting a background image into the Default Background Image Gallery or into the page ? I know I can make a "image color" in photoshop and use it as background but I would like to know is it possible to "don't use image" to make this.

Second question, I would like to put a color (black) below the left bar menu (between the "copyright-RSS-Facebook logo" and the "play-pause-hide sidebar"). By default this part is semi-transparentm but is it possible to change it to black ?

Hi,

I have included the Tag cloud widget in the footer. Is there an easy way to style this so it looks consistent with the rest of the widgets.

For Broadscope dark theme, the tag cloud shows each tag with background White and foreground (font) in grey. Hovering the mouse over the tag changes the background to dark grey and the foreground to white.

I really just want to set the background to be the same as the theme's background (in this case black for the footer) and for the font to by grey as with the other widgets.

The permissions should be 755 (read but not write) for the server, if you can't make the change just add the CSS to the end of style.css using the !important declaration so your changes are definitely used.

I am attempting to change the background image/ colour of the Display theme but am having difficulties due to permissions on the file using the ftp server. The file permission value, of style1.css, is currently 644. I can't change permissions so as to edit this file to change the background image/ colour. Is there an easier way of changing the background colour or how do i change the permissions so as to be able to edit the file.

Really liking the theme!

Many thanks

These are all CSS changes.

Your best bet is to use FireBug to find the CSS you need to change and make the changes directly in style.css / style1.css

Please forgive my lack of knowledge of customising my theme. I am quite new at all this but others might need to know my questions so here goes!

Firstly, even though I know I can change the colour of the text within each post, how can I, by default, change the colour of the excerpts on the home page? It seems a bit too grey for what I need and I would like to make the text black.

Regarding the post titles, is it possible to change the colour of those too if I wanted? How would I do that?

Secondly, how do I change the colour of the background? Can I input a different colour code anywhere? Also, if I wanted to change the background to an image, could I do that? Finally, lets say my image was a very think line that had a graduated colour, could I repeat that along the x or y axis so the whole of the background becomes a graduated colour?

Sorry to ask such relatively simple questions but I would be extremely grateful for any help.

All the best,

Jon
