Hi rbienz,

You could add it in to the single.php file right before the post nav div starts. I'm sure there is a plugin out there that would allow you to simple insert its own hook right at that point and make the process much more simple than building your own from scratch. If not or you would rather style it and build it yourself, that would be the best point to insert it in.

Regards,

Devin

Hi,

Its not a good idea to have such functionality hardcoded into the theme since there are so many custom plugins offering this type of functionality. A good theme provides a robust framework without restricting the end user in their choice of customizations, widgets and plugins.

Please read this article, there are 18 free/premium plugins reviewed that provide the functionality you are looking for. http://www.bloggingehow.com/2012/08/top-18-wordpress-author-bio-boxes.html

The author functionality is offered by some of those plugins as well as by the free Yoast SEO plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/

Thanks,

Nick

Is it possible to add the Author description including the gravatar (if defined) in the end of each blog post (in ex. like here: http://www.idealizer.ch/rich-snippets/)?

I would love to have it look the like the "related article" box or comment box. I could also try to integrate this by myself somehow, but I could not find the right point in the code to start with.

As things such as rel="author" and author-rank become more and more important this would be a very nice generall feature anyway.

Many thanks for your help!
