After a couple days rest I went in and took a look at my text widgets and both of you were right. I did not have the closing tag in many places (mass cutting and pasting of the same error). And the phrasing was off as well in a bunch of places where the closing tag was. It didn't. And then I deleted each custom menu that I had in the footer there, one by one. When both were gone and that widget block was blank, the lines moved over to the next footer widget. What I have there are two custom menus stacked on top of each other in that first footer slot. I went to take a look at both menu blocks that I created in Custom Menus and both are just custom menus. No code entered by me at all. </p> <p>I have been having a hell of a time getting the layered navigation widgets to work as well. And it is weird that it is only (this issue of the lines) on my blog pages. I'll go in and look at each blog post to see if I didn't leave a tag or div open somewhere. But, I think it might be something to do with the php. I'm not sure. </p> <p>In any case, is this what you mean by 'extra menu items'?
