In Avisio options I had selected to exclude a category that didn't have any posts in it. I You could try to reset your entire installation (means removing everything and starting without any content at all, the wp reset plugin can help you with this). There has to be a different solution though, maybe Dude has an other answer, I'm out of ideas. Also deleted several plugins. I've reuploaded Avisio's files from scratch and tried the DESC/ASC code.
